This ring light kit is exactly what I needed for filming and photos. The 18” size gives off bright, even lighting that makes a big difference for makeup tutorials, live streaming, and content creation. The adjustable brightness and color temperature are very useful, and the tripod feels stable enough to hold my phone or camera securely. Assembly was quick and easy. The light is lightweight but powerful, and I love that it comes with a phone holder. Definitely a great value for the price!

I really, really love this light. The controls on the back are easy to use, the ring is huge, its super bright, you can gradually adjust between blue to yellow light. I am taking a filmmaking course and just learned that this blue to white refers to the kelvin and affects the white balance. It is already making my videos look way better than the cheap underpowered ring light I had before, although I am a novice and still learning, of course. It can hold a DSLR camera or phone. The one drawback is it is the phone holder clip does not accommodate my wireless mic receiver, so I have to clip my phone in on the edge if I have my wireless mic plugged into the phone. The stand is really tall and much sturdier that the cheap ring light I had before. The two ring lights really dont even compare, the other one is a toy in comparison to this one. I do not regret spending the extra money to buy this high quality piece of equipment. The extra cost is well worth it.

Good product

this light is great except the heavy power pack is halfway up the stand and makes it prone to falling over if you move it a lot. Mines slowly busting just from tipping. Light itself is powerful and good for media.

This light and stand are terrible quality. 1. You can only film in landscape mode. What? 2. The light itself is very heavy, folds in half for storage in its "case" (just a crappy plastic box that doesnt stay closed) and when opened, the light does not stay open. It does not lock into place, there is no way to keep it from tipping over and folding in half. 3. The ring light is "attached" to the stand by SHOVING the light ,with immense force, onto the very small and short metal tip of the stand. You then "tighten" (does not tighten) the "locking mechanism" (which doesn't stay tight) to keep the ring light from crashing to the ground. It sways back and forth. It does not stay upright. It tips forward or backward giving your camera a bizarre angle that NEVER able to be straight on. No matter how much you tighten this, it does not stay upright. Of course it would not stay upright, because a heavy and huge ring light is not going to be stable when shoved onto an 1.5" of metal. Mediocre quality. Not easy to take apart Does not stay upright The cord is so short there is NO WAY you can use this without an extension cord in order to plug into the call. Not easy to travel with. You have to have an outlet. Granted, the light is very bright. But who cares about brightness when it does not stay upright?

I'm loving this light, it works well and I like that it has the option to plug your phone in to charge right in the light! It's sturdy enough and has a wide range of brightness. Also love that the light folds in half, super handy for storage! The only downfall of this light is the storage/carry box it comes in. Mine broke as soon as I opened it which was a shame but luckily I have my light out more often than not so it's not a huge issue.

Cheap made but many to use

The light is great, it’s beautiful and has an interesting design. However, the box broke on the very first day I opened it, so the quality of the box is not good at all.
