Should have taken a before photo, but this stuff is awesome
Found a rusted up pipe wrench in a puddle in a crawlspace. Took it home and wiped it off, painted the steel jaw and adjustment nut with this stuff, let it sit 5 minutes and rinsed it with water. Thought I’d have to do multiple applications as the steel parts were a literal ball of corrosion. Nope, 1 use and it was good to go, hit it with some light machine oil and into my tool box.

Need to remove paint first
It worked well on tools, as others stated, but on a painted surface, not so great. My recommendation is remove paint before using. Then it works fine, hope that helps.

Works a treat. To be honest, I don't even think the 5-10 minutes' quoted wait time is necessary - I could see it getting most of the rust while I spread it and worked it into the surface.

Worked to Remove Baked on Aluminum Foil
Used this product to remove a bunch of baked on aluminum foil on the bottom of my oven. Getting ready to sell my house, I thought I might have to buy a new oven. I spread the gel on thickly and left it for about 20 hours, then scraped it off.
