It seems to work.
The sound quality of my new head unit isn't that great but I doubt this interface is the problem.

Connected pioneer double din to C5 corvette
This made connecting the pioneer double din radio to my 2003 corvette quick and easy. The only confusing part is that there are 2 identical connectors and the instructions are not real clear about which goes where.

Easy to install and retains the OEM Bose speaker system
Instruction were good and the install was easy. Would have liked to be able to retain my OEM multi-disk CD changer, but it does not do that. Overall, a really good product and works as advertised.

Seems Pretty Straight Forward
First off, I'm no professional automotive stereo installer but I am generally handy and I found this to be a very straight forward install - like colors on the harness to like colors on the manufacturer provided head unit (HU) connector. There are a few things in the documentation that could have been a little more through for example the two red wires that both attach to the one red wire of the HU supplied plug. The documentation and the illustration seem to indicate two things but some quick research solved that problem (the two reds connect to the single red). The other item (and not specifically a Metra\Axxess issue) is that many installation videos keep saying that there is no accessory power behind the HU. I'm not sure if it just a different kit they are referring to but I didn't have to add any separate accessory power to the harness. The stock radio connector seems to provide that just fine when attached to the harness and the new HU works fine and retains power as the stock one did after turning the car off until the door is opened.

Worked as needed!
Installed on my 97 Vette. Weird issue as these cars are filled with electrical gremlins. Wired up exactly as stated. ACC wire would not turn radio on. Did additional wire to fuse 22 per recommendation. Bigger issues. Pulled additional wire and tried it again, been fine since. No idea if it was the car, the module, or what. But it all works as needed now, so 5 star lol.

Works great. Better than expected.
This little black box works better and does more than i ever expected it to. Makes the Bose in door speaker/amp assy work and sound like its suppose to using an after market tuner and amp. Real easy to install too.

Disappointed
Looks like a quality product. Reviews were good. Instructions were clear and easy. Installed into my 04 Corvette and was absolute trash. The sound is horrible. It shorted out the LF speaker when connected. Did nothing with the stock Bose system. The ground wire on the amp side was in the wrong location. Installed a PAC ROEM-VET1 for cheaper and it worked great.

Works Great!
Five stars as this product makes it possible to upgrade to a modern entertainment system. The instructions could be better as my head unit has a wire for the power antenna, but the interface doesn't. The car as a power antenna and it turns out the interface will operate the antenna without this wire. There is also a procedure to adjust the trim pots for the best sound. Easy to dial in and sounds really good with the original Bose speakers.
