Nice hammer for the price
I lost the reflex hammer we were given at the beginning of the rotation (less than a week in), so this one is a replacement. It's a nice reflex hammer. My neuro attending even complimented it, but half of the hammer sticks out of my pocket and skewers my arm throughout the day. Would recommend to someone (after showing them the full size of the hammer).

Nice levar due to the weight. Has a sharp side so comes in handy for sensory exams, and finally very easy to do reflexes with this

The item seems fine, but I received an open package that was clearly a returned unit.

Better than most
This is a very good reflex hammer under $20 and better than most. It allows consistent impact to elicit subtle reflex asymmetry. Shorter portable hammers are not as sensitive. Personally, I prefer a long reflex hammer like this one but with a slightly stiffer plastic shaft. Although this one is very good it now comes in second place for me.
