Simple to use, i use this and a dark glass bk7 ultra pre amp pedal as my bass rig and thats it. I keep it just under 12oclock. The fact that i can fit both these in my bass bag and be ready for any gig is amazing! Really helps tighten up your tone before the pre amp.

Système innovant qyi permet de sélectionner un mode de compression pré-enregistré, il y en a foison sur l'appli tone print dispo sur Play Store ou app store (pour IOS). Vous devez sélectionner un type de compression puis approcher au plus proche votre smartphone de votre micro de basse, votre smartphone va émettre une série d'ultra-sons, comme une sorte de code-barre sonore, ensuite la pédale va clignoter vert puis se remettra au rouge signe que votre réglage a été pris en compte. Vous entendrez clairement la différence entre les différents presets. Mais vous pourrez aussi, et c'est ça qui est super, construire votre niveau de compression, ainsi que le niveau de déclenchement sonore a votre guise, pratique quand on veux supprimer le souffle généré par l'amplification des fréquences medium et aigus. Bref vous pouvez régler très précisément votre compression, cette pédale serait presque une multieffet, on arrive presque à obtenir une disto. Franchement je pensais pas qu'une pédale de compression pouvait être aussi riche en palette sonore. Niveau qualité et solidité, c'est clairement du premium! J'applaudis les ingénieurs qui ont développé ce petit bijou.

Having read the reviews for the Spectracomp I made sure I had a mains adaptor before ordering, and I've not been disappointed.The small footprint of the pedal is amazing when you consider what's going on inside. The Toneprint app enables you to download a variety of "pro signature" compressor settings, all of which effect your sound from a subtle compression to full on "squash it hard and increase the output" tone shaping.Don't rely on the default loaded settings on the pedal to judge this piece of kit as, while it's an okay compressor set-up, it's with the TonePrint app that this pedal really shows it's true colours (or lack of colouring of your tone). The TonePrint Editor enables you to fine-tune ape very aspect of the pedal, from the crossover frequencies of the multi band compressor to the parameters of the single pedal control (although this can be assigned three parameters simultaneously), and everything in between.An amazing little pedal that has replaced the other compressors I've been using recently within 2hours of using this piece of kit.
