I Love coffee,, but drink too much , so I am always looking for a substitute.. nothing seems to really satisfy me or come close. I've tried a lot of teas and I don't much care for any of them. This stuff comes close enough to satisfy me. It is a little harsh and earthy with a sorta burnt flavor (but in a good way). I actually like drinking it as much as decaf coffee.

I've been drinking this stuff for a few days now. Another review said it "tastes just like coffee". Well, it does not but, it does have a pleasant taste. Compared to the French Chicory which I also drink regularly, the Roasted Barley is much more mild. You have to use extra barley grounds compared to coffee to get a decent brew out of it. On the other hand, the French Chicory requires less grounds than coffee to make a good cup. This stuff is good, you should try it. Maybe add a few coffee or chicory grounds and mix it up a bit to find your perfect cup. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Have fun.

I used this in a baked cod & veggies dish with date syrup & balsamic glaze, and it was delicious. Im looking forward to using it in more fish dishes and marinades.

this is the 3rd or 4 time that I order this tea. It is very good, very fragrant and fresh.
