Wasn't sure if this would really work but IT DOES. I have 2 porch cats. There are never any ants anywhere until I go to feed the cats and then mysteriously ants appear and attach their food. I was shocked and impressed these "Ant Proof Trays" actual fool the ants I guess. Because the ants make it to the bottom of the tray but, the ants do not get in the food bowl. WOW, WOW great product.

Works excellent. Ant problem is a thing of the past with this product.

The media could not be loaded. These are absolutely great. The ants cannot get up into the food dish at all. Perfect for wet food and dry food keeping it fresh and bug free. They are quality built should last for many years if not for a lifetime. I put a piece of rubber drawer liner on top of it to prevent the dish from sliding when the cats and dogs are eating.

Great product! I bought one and absolutely NO ants have gotten into my cats food bowl which is inside my home. So I bought a second one for my cat that is outside and again absolutely NO ants have gotten into my cat food bowl which is outside. I have had ant problems getting into the cat food bowls constantly and this platform problem is an effective solution. Great cost for a great and effective product!

If you are interested in purchasing this item you should know this:• First and foremost, the item does what it claims to do. If you are having trouble with ants getting into your pet’s food dish, this tray really does work. My sister and I both have suffered with ants getting into our pet food bowls, and since we’ve started using this tray, there hasn’t been even one ant that made it into the bowls; my sister’s in Texas and mine in Hawaii.• That being said above, the pictures and item descriptions online are deceiving. It really looks as though the pet food bowl is included with the purchase; it is not. Instead what you do receive is a small two sided sticker to place on the underside of your own food bowl, to then affix to this tray if needed.• The next issue involves the trays that have a floral pattern or wave design on it. These are just the plain blue trays with the design paper glued on and as soon as the tray gets wet the paper with the patterns begin to peel off. The trays with the designs do cost more than the original plain ones, and so it is a waste of money. The other issue I can foresee, is if the double sided sticker is used to hold the food bowl in place, it will essentially also remove the glued on patterned paper with any movement of the bowl.• Overall, the look of the tray is that its cheaply made.All of that being said:1 - I’m satisfied with the product as to its performance.2 - I’m disappointed in the cheap looking paper covering that only lasted a day which cost more.3 - I will purchase it again should the need arise, but only the original plain tray.

Wondering why my dog wasn't eating her kibble, I noticed her bowl was full of little sugar ants. We had a pretty big problem last year and even had to call in the pros. They were EVERYWHERE! Counters, floor.... So I bought this one last year when we had the bad ant problem. No more throwing away her food! The ants aren't as bad this year, but they are still around, so I just ordered a 2nd one since I also give her other food separate from her kibble in a different bowl.

This is my 3rd purchase. I feed a bunch of community ferals daily and am so happy!! It actually keeps the ants out! It’s perfect size for their plates and easy to clean up. I will be buying a few more so all plates have a tray.
