Paper Mate Profile Retractable Ballpoint Pens Bold Point (1.4mm) Black 36 Count

While my first test left me unsure, these pens have grown on me. They write well, feel good in the hand, and I haven’t had a single smear yet. They hold their own against other pens with similar specs. They don’t dethrone my favorite, but they’re a strong second—or at least a close third.

I've been using this style of pens for years because they write consistently until all the ink runs out. The thing that will make me chuck a whole box of otherwise pens in the trash is when more than one writes unreliably, as I need clean writing that holds up for pages a day. This box seems to have standard quality for this style, which is exactly what I expect and need. The ink does smear for a few seconds after writing, so these might not be ideal for left handed people that rest their hand on the document, but otherwise I love them.

I do a huge amount of paperwork in my job. And while I have never found a perfect pen, these come close. Every once and awhile one of these will stop writing for some reason but for the price these are great. Smooth and easy to control. 1.4B is what I am reviewing. Ink does run out faster then other pens. I probably go through 50-60 in one year just at work.

These pens work really well they have a great variety of colors. They write with speed not to thick or thin. They last forever and dry quickly. They glide as you write across a page definitely recommend.
