I have found my favorite way to brew coffee on backpacking trips. This is very similar to the idea behind Kuju coffee. Kuju coffee had a great idea but the cost was a bit too much for what you got. By ordering the empty filter you can use this with whatever your favorite coffee or loose leaf tea is and drink a really good pour over coffee. I have had no issues with this product and will most likely add this to a recurring shipment. Besides the benefit of having a real cup of coffee out in the woods is easy disposal of the filter. No metal can be found in the product so once you use it...simply through the filter and grounds in the campfire and you are done. Bam!! Video on the product review is pending.

These are great filters. They fit perfectly over a mug or cup and does not leave any residue or sludge at the bottom of my cup.

I got used to using these while I lived in Japan and was pleased to find them readily available. These are substantially the same as the ones I used in Japan. If you're thinking of buying a one-cup coffee maker but don't have any room on your kitchen counter, these may be for you!

I love the flavor of fresh poured-over coffee. This is just as quick as using my coffee pot but results in better tasting coffee. I also like that the individual liners are not plastic like other single serve coffee methods.

Shipped fast. Good for use with medium to fine grain coffee. Was too light a flavor when I used course grind, itjust seeped through too fast.

100 filters arrived wrapped in a plastic bag and then in a ziplock. I've used one and it was just to my satisfaction. I'm still playing around with how much coffee and which grind. I'm guessing about 8g and a bigger grind than espresso. But these filters are great.

Cool idea....but it takes a VERY long time to brew a cup. The water just sits on top of the coffee grounds! Anyway, I went ahead and bought a little coffee maker for my motorhome instead.

Excellent way to brew a single cup!
