For some reason, the lips on Hina (blonde) bothered me. A fun thing she did with this series is make the taller mature looking one younger than the smaller younger one. Volume 3 does get a little steamy so you may want to take a peek towards the end if you are going to read this in public to see if you’re comfortable with it. Overall, a sweet story that doesn’t end “and they got together” and we get a chance to see them together. Though it does feel like she could have explored their issues a little more, it didn’t keep me from enjoying this a lot.This book series seems to be partially out of physical print but is pretty easy to find used. You can buy it as an ebook if you have an issue finding them. Book 3 I had a tough time finding.

Seeing as I love Morinaga's work, I naturally had to check out this story. I generally prefer physical manga to e-books, but due to adult content, I'm suspecting, people are selling volume 3 for close to $800! I hate scalpers. Anyhow, this volume starts out smooth, & after a few misunderstandings, the girls start to become friends, and then it shows that one already has a crush on the other (Who? Well you will just have to read it to find out). Or are they both starting to fall for each other? Read it & find out.I am already hooked & will start volume 2 as soon as I finish this review.

If you’ve read a romance you know the drill. Internal monologues and misunderstandings abound. But it is so well done in Hana to Hina that you won’t care. This is a must read for any Yuri lover.

AMAZING story. It’s a 3 piece manga and it’s SO adorable. If you can find the third volume at a reasonable price, I found one at a Barnes and Noble, then didn’t have 1 or 2 just 3, pci lit up!! It seems rare and pricey.Needless to say one of the quickest to get into Yuri and shoujo for anyone; children or adults can be thrilled by the story because it’s got such mature themes but it’s so elegant in how it’s oortrayed.

So I’ve tried to find western lesbian content and it’s honestly very difficult, at least on the main stream. My cousin recommended me this book, and honestly it was amazing. So good. So cute. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed a high school romance nearly as much. It doesn’t really get very steamy, but I don’t really want that anyway. I definitely recommend it! Writing is good, and it’s a nice little fantasy world to drift off into.

I liked it. Enjoyable characters, good art work. Something to go back to from time to time. Milk Morinaga tells good stories.

The only downside is, if you've read anything else by Milk Morinaga, you pretty much know exactly what to expect, and it can be a little same-y. But on the other hand, that can also be a good thing, because her works are always so incredibly cute, sweet, well-drawn and just emotionally beautiful.

This series was interesting because the love interest has already started and as you read, you discover more of how it began and the uncertainty of the two. MM is great at the typical high school Yuri story development. This one has a strong and revealing ending!

A new ongoing series from the peerless Milk Morinaga is definitely something to treasure: here the titular couple - inevitably high school girls - are the winsome Hana and the chic, impossibly cool Hina who wind up working part-time together at a novelty toy store, and clash almost immediately. But there are a couple of major twists to this tale, meaning the girls come to depend on each other to a degree that goes some way beyond being colleagues, or even friends. The usual Morinaga trademarks of exquisite characterisation, sly humour and gentle eroticism are all present & correct - only this author could make a three-legged race a dramatic highlight and get away with it. Clearly there's a long way to go in this relationship, but no doubt it's going to be worth the ride...

the first vol of a great series that I love. here you are introduced to hana and hina, their secret job at a cute shop and the beginning of their relationship. but can two young women who seem so different have anything in common? read and find out :)

The description made it sound old but it looks new just has a dot that doesn’t affect anything it’s really good and the story is cute and adorable

A fun and enjoyable manga, but not as good as Morinaga's previous titles like Girlfriends and so forth.

Estamos con otro trabajo de Milk Morinaga, ahora con la pareja protagonista Hana y Hina.Vemos al principio a Hana (cabello rubio) quien empieza a trabajar junto a Hina (cabello castaño)en una tienda de peluches y otros artículos del estilo Kawaii.A Hana le gustan las cosas lindas, pero por su apariencia tiende a no mostrarlo.El manga sigue bien la relación que se va formando junto a ellas dos y su confusión de Hanahacia Hina por cómo llevar sus emociones a regla.De nuevo buena historia presentado por Morinaga y de nuevo vemos el mismoestílo característico de esta artista, que te puede gustar o no, pero no por eso deja de ser un trabajo.
