We are city dwellers moved to the country, needed some everyday heavier footwear for my husband to poke around the gardens and woods around our property. Sometimes we use an axe, sometimes other work around the property. Bought these as a gift to him. they are perfect! He's been wearing them for about 6 months now and they are a great fit, easy enough to take on and off, and just work really well for protection. I am so glad I found them and would recommend them to anyone.

This is my third pair of these I have purchased. I am a Millwright in a paper mill and walk all day. I am also constantly standing in water. Ill admit the liner does have a tendency to separate causing them to be difficult to remove. However I wear a Fitbit and track my steps daily. The last pair I bought I have walked 630 miles in over a period of 5 months. Ive owned $300 RedWings that were extremely heavy compared to these and I would take a pair of these over a RedWing in a heartbeat.

Fit true to size. I wear 10.5 street shoe and 10.5 boot is the same fit. Good looking, comfortable and reasonably priced. Have already used a leather conditioner just to soften them up more and provide additional waterproofing. Highly recommend if you’re not looking to spend a lot but want comfort, looks and durability.

I really like this boot but I have two major issues with them. I've owned two sets of them:The first is that the lining inside will tear away within a couple weeks which causes your heel to get stuck on the lining when you try to slide the boot off. Eventually they will tear in a way that this will stop happening, but his is one of the main reasons I bought them in the first place. The ease of sliding them on and off was what I was looking for various scenarios.The second is that they last about a year (with daily use) before the tread on the bottom wears away enough that the boot stops being water proof.They are very comfortable and the steel toe is needed for my job.$80 once a year isn't a big deal if you can afford that or get a uniform allowance from work.
