I left a not-so-great review earlier and the company asked me to give 'em another try, so I did, and this time they delivered as promised and then some. The oak wood was just as advertised, all solid pieces, and solidly boxed and delivered on time. This small "log" size is perfect for our solo stove, and being oak, it will give a long-lasting burn. We will be back for more. Quality control is important and appreciated by this customer.

The wood is on the smaller side, but it burns fantastic, you will go through it quick with keeping a fire going for awhile.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This was my first time using this product and I was super disappointed. I smoke often and the only thing I changed in my process was using this brand of hickory wood and it ruined my birds. The smoke itself didn’t even look right and the chicken tasted like industrial/bad smoke and it was for my family for the 4th. Really sad. I will say that the wood was well packed and in good sized pieces so maybe they sent the wrong stuff but I can’t trust it again. Zero stars.

Very convenient. But it’s expensive for what you get.Good for 3 rounds of smoking . That’ll do. I only bought it. Cause oak isn’t available around my area .
