Firefighter Interview Rule Book: Firefighter Interview Rule Book Paperback – March 1, 2015

After hearing fellow firefighters (personally and via reviews) rave about how great this book was, I figured I had to give it a try. I'm so glad I did as this book allowed me to formulate the answers that I already knew I had. This book will teach you how to provide all the information that you're trying to explain in answers that make sense, but without rambling on. Simply put, it provides structure.I did not get the personal coaching classes, but I did study this book, along with practice mock answers, for about two months. I did a mock interview the day prior to my actual interview and felt great. Once my formal interview, which was my first fire interview, was complete, I knew I had laid it all on the line. One of the chiefs even thanked me for being so well prepared for my interview! I ended up getting the job offer, and in my dream/home state of HI!Highly recommend!

Valuable insightful information on fire department interviews. A must have!

This book is amazing! It really DID help me get my dream job just last week. The TopScore authors are outstanding and go out of their way to help you nail the firefighter interview. The way it is broken down, and the information given is crucial for any candidate to do well on a oral interview. I can't even explain how thankful I am for this team of excellent writers who created this book and I would hands down MANDATE you buy it and study it if you are serious about a career in the Fire Service. I can't thank these guys enough, it works!

I purchased the Firefighter Interview Rule Book expecting a book, instead, I got a thick pamphlet of about 100 pages. I thought for $29.95 I would be getting a robust book with far more information, I guess I could buy the workbook as well for another $19.50 (can you say upsell?) but am afraid I’d receive a similar product. For this amount of money, I was expecting far more information, I think if you shop around you will find better books at a far better value.

I want to give a big shout out to Rob & Mike of Topscore. With the help of their Firefighter interview rule book and the work book I received a 100% on my interview and a job offer at a major department west of the Rockies. The first time I tested for this department I was underprepared and overwhelmed. Needless to say the interview did not go well. My friend told me about the Firefighter interview rule book and the top score program. This book and work book is where it's at. I read the interview rule book twice, completed the Workbook and met with Rob for interview coaching. After I completed the book and started implementing the top score - top five durring my mock interviews, I was dialed. The work book is a must. We often overlook our great attributes, accomplishments and personal stories. The workbook was extremely important for refreshing my memory. If you are testing, I would highly recomend the Top score products. Follow the program, do mock interviews and start testing.

When I saw these reviews I turned to my wife and said "You think this is for real ?" Well, funny thing is that when the Chief of my dream department called yesterday to offer me a job, he said that when I left the Chief's Panel he thought "Is this kid for real ?" True story! You have to have the dedication, drive, and passion to get offered a position in the Fire Service (as you should) but Rob and Mike will teach you how to organize your thoughts and enthusiasm into concise answers that score at the top of the list during your interview.Thank you Rob and Mike! You helped change my life.

After scoring high on the written I knew I had to do something to ace my interview to land a job at my dream department. This book, and the coaching offered by Top Score gave me the tools and understanding I needed to prepare for an interview like I never have before. After being a weak interviewer with several departments I scored a 100% on my oral board after preparing with the Top Score system. I was 1 of 3 100% scores out of 120 interviews. I am happy to say I got the job! I owe much of that credit to this book and the Top Score system. You can’t go wrong here if you are serious about getting hired.

Super disappointed when this arrived at my residence! When I opened the book it was a novel not even relevant to firefighting.!!! Couldn't believe it! Sent back the next Day!!!
