If you're looking for a small portable speaker something you can put on your belt or pocket, just buy it. I have not heard any better speaker this size including Bose.

There's a fair few poor reviews for this device that seem a little odd to me.Some of them are complaining about the lack of depth, others about power problems.It feels like either these reviews have got mixed up and they are reviewing a different product than the one I got, or the expectations are ridiculous, or they are trying to charge the device with an incompatible power source.I never expected a hiFi sound when I purchased this.I got it because headphones are starting to ruin my hearing, even though I keep the db below 70.They just hurt my ears - and db below 70 makes it hard to enjoy the music.Sure, I can't hang out in a public space full of people with this speaker unless I want to be socially annoying, but I can use it when I'm cooking, or sitting in the garden in the sun as a replacement for headphones.I can use it when friends come over and we don't want dominating music volume as we chat.If you are expecting rock out loud quality sound from this device, it isn't for you.If you are happy with a volume of sound about at loud talking level - so casual listening - then it's great.Go in with the right expectations.I suspect the device should have more volume limiting capabilities as I can well believe some purchasers trying to rock out with such a tiny speaker will push it to the extreme - which is a daft idea.Look for another device if that's what you want.

This thing is fantastic. I had read that they were good, but I was blown away by the sound of this thing. Bought to replace a speaker that was twice the size (charging port broke) this things blows it away in both volume and quality of sound. It's never going to shake walls, but I've no idea how it manages bass like it in such a small package, and it stays clear and distortion free to uncomfortable volume levels.

I use this speaker for hands-free calls on my cellphone and Teams calls on my laptop. Can connect to both devices simultaneously. Great quality, tiny size and simple fuss-free connecting.

I bought this to provide a good listening experience when using my Lenovo Legion 5 laptop which enables me to watch Netflix and iPlayer on my 43" Samsung TV… and to facilitate listening to radio via BBC Sounds or Classic FM on my smartphone.My hearing isn’t great… and I need to have louder, more substantial sound from the two devices mentioned above: a laptop (for media consumption) and a smartphone.I live in a small flat.. so I don’t need earth-shaking volume.PROsThe sound is quite full-bodied and detailed (bear in mind that my hearing isn’t the greatest)It’s small in sizeIt easily hooks up to the last device usedSwitching devices is straightforwardBattery life is goodCONsIt can be a tad awkward to position; it has a strap at the back, so you can hang it up; but it doesn’t stand up by itself.. because it’s rounded on all sides (I stand it up on a small portable folding stand designed for a smartphone or tabletI can’t tell if the sound quality would suit a hi-fi fan. And I can’t tell you if it will be loud enough. I have it at quite a high volume .. quite close by me (but I am deaf in one ear… and the other isn’t great; however, my flat is quite small).I would have no hesitation in recommending it.
