Folding style so handy to keep in car
Great aid for this older person who still enjoys a moderate hiking trail, but needs a little insurance to prevent falls. It is helpful to watch the manufacturer's assembly video before 1st time use, and practice a few times. When you learn the proper order, assembly is quick and easy. The height adjustment has markings. The manufacturer's video also shows you how to adjust the height. Once you know your setting you can easily slide to correct height and snap the clip to secure. When not in use, pole folds in thirds and slips into imcluded mesh storage bag. They are so thin and light, yet really feel sturdy. Handle has comfortable neoprene type covering, with comfortable grip and wrist strap. I usually use one while walking the dog on woodland trails. The pole is especially great in areas of loose rock, and has kept me on my feet thru areas of trip hazards like partially exposed roots and rocks. I love how they fold up and can stash out of sight in my car like my umbrella. 3 different pole "feet" for different terrains are included. Colors are vibrant.

Perfect!
I love these poles! Very lightweight, very strong, collapses down to a small size, easy to assemble, no slipping on the adjustment clamp, comfortable grip. I am 5’10”, and I suspect taller people may not find these long enough, but I used them at full extension when going downhill. An inch or two shorter otherwise.

Just what I was looking for!
Very nice poles! I was surprised that they are as nice as they are for the excellent price. I like them better than my previous telescoping poles, as they are much more compact to carry and you can easily set and re-set the length you desire for your current terrain and use.The poles are very easy and quick to deploy, however pushing the button in to retract them again is not quite as easy, especially if your hands are a bit cold. The rest of the retraction process is super easy. And, once folded up, they come with a nice velcro cord strip that keeps them tight and tidy.I really like that the poles come in two separate storage bags, as you may want to carry only one pole on some outings, not two and the bags give you the option to have your pole in a bag on the inside or outside of your pack, which keeps things more organized and neat.I put the various pole tips (very nice tips that came with the poles) in a separate mesh bag (sort of see-through) that I attached directly to the two-bag system because I could see that pulling out the poles could inadvertently pull out a tip at the same time and you may not notice, especially if it fell down into snow. Therefore, having the tips in a separate small bag made a lot of sense to me. It would also enable me to take quick inventory of my tips to make sure everything was in place when changing them out. I have worked on search and rescue for 19 years now, and over the years, I have become very aware of how to manage and put systems in place so gear is not ever lost. I want to spend my time and dollars upgrading gear, not replacing it.I cannot attest to how rugged these tips are as I have not yet put them through the test of time and use, however they feel quite substantial and durable, not soft or easily dented. The grips are very comfortable and the wrist straps are easily adjusted. I like the material the wrist straps a made from as well. I have not taken these poles through the heat of summer yet, so I cannot speak to the grip in hot weather, but they are super comfortable in winter, as the material does not get super cold and has just the right degree of soft to prevent fatigue and firmness to give stability of use.I guess the only thing about these poles is the branding. They have not one, but two logos on the poles. I would prefer less labeling and more solid blue color, which would make the poles more pleasing to the eye. While aesthetics are not important to the function, as an artist, I guess I cannot help myself.

Mother loves them
I've been trying to get my mom to go hiking more often and she has been concerned about her balance. I bought her a walking stick a while back that was real carved wood and beautiful but she would never remember to take it with her. these have been amazing for her because they collapse and go right into her backpack and she keeps her backpack in her car at all times and they are very sturdy. She said they were the best gift I could ever get her. It makes me happy when she is happy.

Good for travel and first time poles
I have never used poles before while hiking. I recently took a trip to California where I hiked at Yosemite, sequoia, and kings canyon. These poles didn’t take up a lot of space in my luggage (a carry on) and were able to fit into my hiking bag so I could use them and put them away when needed. I also have not good knees and these helped my knees SO MUCH. My boyfriend also bought these poles (I got the small and he got the longer one) on our hikes. In my experience, they didn’t slide around at all and the height I set the poles at stayed the same through our hikes. On the other hand, he mentioned that his slid a little so he had to readjust them once. There is a little screw that can make the pole tighter to avoid sliding which is nice to prevent that from happening. Overall, I’ve used these poles on about four hikes now (ranging from 4-7 miles and a total of 5000+ elevation gain) and they have held up great! I would definitely recommend.

BEST HIKING POLES EVER
I tell everyone I know about these hiking poles. I hiked for 4 weeks in Slovenia with them,- across tons of high alpine terrain and sketchy skree and they saved my life more than once. Super durable, super easy to operate, and cute too! The wrist loops and handles are so comfy, and have grip even when drenched in sweat and/or rain. They don’t rust, dry quick, and fold up smaller than almost anything else on the market. The ONE thing to keep note of (which is true with all hiking poles) is that the attachable feet need to be screwed on tight or they can come off. I learned that lesson after gently popping them on. Make sure it’s tight. I took these to summits, down rocky river beds, across rivers where rocks were covered in moss..they kept me steady the whole time. And they are super lightweight,- I carried them for 7 weeks of travel. Buy these !! I am a fan girl of whoever invented this brand. Excellent poles, excellent product. Look no further & get these !!!
