I used this cleaner as soon as it arrived today. The size (small) was PERFECT for my 5,10 &15 gallon tanks and I was surprised how easy and quick the glass cleaning can be done with minimum disturbance. Not sure how long the magnets will last, but the strength of the magnet is just right for all my tanks. Someone wrote the rotation of the magnet was annoying, but I prefer some rotation on the magnets as I found out as you rotate the cleaner different directions, the algae will come off easier vs. just going in one direction. It even worked for my 15 gallon bow front aquarium...for the algae but not for the Nerite snail eggs on the bow front glass. I'm really OK with it as all the algae was gone in no time! So pleased how quickly the glass cleaning was done without putting my hands in water! I am ordering another one as this works perfectly for my tanks. Wish I had this sooner.

I use these to hold plastic breeding boxes to the side of my 40g breeder tank for saltwater anemone propagation. Works perfect for this purpose. Magnet is very strong and the slim wet side of the magnet does not take up any room in the breeder box. Super cheap method for keeping the boxes from floating around in the tank. 10/10 will buy again for this purpose.

These glass cleaners work well in a plastic tank. They do skip, which makes it not the easiest to use, but they do clean well with no scratches.

They're much smaller than I anticipated, but they worked well in my 10 and 20 gallon tanks. Might require a little scrubbing in some spots, but it clears algae away pretty quickly, then you can take the magnet out and rinse it all off, it catches a lot of it so it isn't floating around the tank. The magnet works pretty well, too.

Super Handy

Worked very well in my 10 gallon glass tank. Front is a curved surface and the scrub had no issues. Only problem is it’s effectiveness on built up algae, works well as a routine maintenance type device, but not enough scrub power to get through the more stubborn spots. Good size to easily tuck away on the side of the tank so I don’t have to take it out after each use.

This is a very small cleaner, just what i wanted.It does work, but takes some persistence, There is a single magnet, so it like to spin instead of cleaning often.This product would be an EASY 5/5 or better if it had more than one magnet inside and didnt spin.That is really the only thing holding it back.

It is what it is. It works. It's a good quality build. It has strong magnets. It's the best deal on Amazon. I use them on my 10's and 20's with no problems. I have them in black, though I wish they also sold them in green and red. If these won't clean your glass, then no other magnetic brush will. It'll then be time to use an algae blade scraper.
