This is a really effective product to deal with the problem of not being able to fit a laptop desk over the arms of a chair. I have a rocking chair on my porch and I like to sit outside sometimes and work. This product works really well because it's wide and light weight...however, it's pretty expensive for what you're actually getting. Also, the handles are awkwardly positioned and it's painful if you try to pick up your laptop using those handles. It would be easier to hold if the handles were near the top of the arch, instead of the very bottom.

This has a great shape and two handles. Very pleased with it. It fits across my chair arms too. An added bonus!

Fits across my recliner perfectly. It will sag without a pillow on your lap for items with weight such as a laptop.

its very thin and I'm concerned about it snapping in two with use of a 17in laptop. its held up so far and does as promised.

I had one of these from several years ago. My sister recently had a stroke, and I found this one for her on Amazon. She is able to use the lap desk and has found it helpful. It also gives support for her left arm, which was affected by the stroke! I use mine when I am reading, writing letters, etc.
