I got these to create a slight curb between the gravel driveway and the lawn in hopes of keeping people from driving onto the grass. It took some trial and error to find the right cement type and amounts needed as the instructions and video weren't great, IMO. I am closest to a Lowe's, and found using Sakrete 5000, 50lb bags worked best. Only after I had started did I discover the Sakrete crack-resistant, which may have been a finer particle, but I stuck with the 5K for consistency. I ordered both curved and straight molds and here is what I found I needed:• (2.5) 50lb bags = all 4 molds (2 curves, 2 straight)• (1.5) 50lb bags = 2 straight• (1) 50lb bag = 2 curvesIt took some patience, but I am happy with the result!

Molded 60 total out of a pair of these. They held up well, just be sure to use some sort of mold release. Also, consider using some sort of brace, form or dig a tight fitting hole to put these in before pouring concrete because they tend to bow out along their length.

Kind of pricey and thin, but they were the only molds with this design. Takes about 50 pounds of dry quickrete to fill both molds.You'll want to tap the sides to help get air out. If you omit this step or don't have enough water in your mix then you'll get ugly porus blocks.Make sure to spray with silicone or some kind of release agent before pouring mix in. Otherwise you may not be able to get the finished block out of the mold.The quickrete I was using takes 2-3 full days to dry. If you remove it from mold and it breaks, then trying letting it dry longer.

Recently started a lot of concrete work like making a birdbath, stepstones, outdoor coffee table etc. I ordered this mold for finishing a new flower bed. I could make two borders out of 50 pounds dry concretes. It was not easy to take it out from the mold unless you spray inside well. I used a cooking spray. it worked. you have to be a little careful when you take it out from the mold due to the weight. This mold is strong enough to hold it but you still can make a mistake by ripping off the mold. I forgot to spray second times and one of the mold was completely stuck. it's from Ukraine takes a month to have the product but I thought it's worthy to wait. this is 3rd order from same company, so far so good.I am looking for a different and unique design mold that I can't find from the local stores. so I am happy to find this for my project. thank you.

The postal service delivered the box’s over a week apart. The product is great. Study well made molds.

I love this product! The hardest part is making sure to have your concrete at the right consistency. I found that mixing it to be just a little bit wetter than normal produces a smoother product. I used a cheap can of spray vegetable oil on each form and the stone easily popped out. Make sure you thoroughly wipe out the form before the next use. I'm making several of these to line a flower bed along my fence line. I need about 90. Though it will take longer, I can make 90 for less than $200 rather than by them at a big box home improvement store for nearly $1000.

These molds do the job. My only problem with them is that they are delicate and may break easily. Other than that, if you are gentle with them, they serve their purpose. They are reusable, and I have not had any trouble removing the blocks from them.
