Q: Can these be disassembled and reused after they are built so more than one person can experience building each one?

No. They cannot. The plastic strips if you screw into it

Q: How long does it take to complete?

We started with the tank and it took about an hour maybe more. It is pretty hard for my 7 year old and she needs a lot of help. Probably better for about 10 to do it independently.
