Perfect Tool for Clean, Consistent Strips!
I’ve used a lot of cable strippers over the years, but the iCrimp ICP-240 stands out for its precision and ease of use. The build quality feels solid and durable, with smooth operation and comfortable grips that make repetitive work much easier. It strips wires cleanly every time no nicked conductors or uneven cuts. The adjustable tension and compatibility across AWG sizes make it super versatile for both professional and DIY projects.

Great tool when correctly adjusted!
Great product, really works well if you take the time to adjust the blade height correctly, leave a thin layer of the jacket that will break when the cable is bent over to avoid nicking the wires inside the cable.

Works well, solidly-built. Would be better if the cut depth was adjustable.
This is a good tool, period. But for the price it's a great tool. I bought this to strip 4 and 0-gauge power wire for car stereo installs. I tested it with some cheaper 4-gauge and it worked perfectly, running the stripper around twice. Clean cut and didn't nick any strands. But when I moved to the cable I was actually going to use, it cut way too far into the wire strands. This happened b/c the good cable has a thinner jacket where the test cable was actually welding cable with a thicker jacket. If this tool had an adjustable cut depth it would be perfect. You can sort of "make it adjustable" by pinching the lever open slightly as you spin it. This is obviously tricky to do, but can be done. The fact that it makes a perfectly round/even cut is the big draw for me. If only it was adjustable.

Works Great
There is a learning curve, but it does a great job of stripping wire.

I'd buy again.
Very happy to not have bought some ridiculously over engineered and priced tool for this task. This ICP-240 works flawlessly. Set the blade on the spot you want to strip from, spin it around three times, usse your fingers to break the insulation and pull off. No damage to the copper, super easy, quick, hassle free. It even comes with an extra blade and the hex wrench needed to swap them.

Perfect for splitting duplex!
Perfect for stripping the jacket off of Ancor duplex marine grade wire and I’m sure it works great on any other brand duplex. I’ve used it to split duplex wires from 12-6awg using the small blade at the tip of this tool. Its cutting depth is adjustable via an Allen screw in the bottom and Allen wrench that’s stowed in the tool. Set it to the depth you need and it’s perfect every time. I haven’t used it for stripping individual wires for crimping connections because I already have an effective method for wires up to 4awg but I’m sure it would work well. Comes with extra blades and Allen wrench. Can beat it for 10 bucks. Ordered another to keep in the toolbox.

Genius tool that makes life easier
Swear by these at work, makes 100% straight around cuts makes it quick and simple, I personally would rather use this over a M12 Milwaukee $1000 stripper. I just use a knife to make the second cut along the wire to pull off the insulation. Love this thing, I have 3 now I even use it on 500 MCM cu all day

bit of a flaw, it will cut the wire too.
It will cut well but that's part of the problem. It will cut the wire also especially car stereo fine wire. It needs a depth adjustment to keep it from going to deep. An adjuster would stop it where you need it, so it goes through only the insulation. It has a very sharp razor cutting edge. Spring pressure is high and that also makes it cut through the wire easily.

Mint. Makes the job 100 times easier and speeds the process up as well! Definitely recommend for all electricians. Works best on solid or larger strand wire.

I saw in many comments prior to purchase that people complained that it cut too deep - the cutter comes with a little allen key stored inside it that you use to adjust a cut depth for your specific guage. Works excellent.

It is good product but caveat is that the spring tension can cut through the wire if you’re not careful. If you are planning to use it to remove wire jackets, make sure you have good idea of the wire jacket thickens for blade to cut through it without damaging underneath cables. Otherwise if you are planning to use it as cutter, you will be fine.
