I was concerned reading reviews of toilet seat risers that many don't fit the bowl correctly, allow leakage when used by males, or couldn't be securely fastened. None of those concerns apply to this riser, which fits my American Standard toilet perfectly. I bought it in anticipation of my knee replacement surgery and I was particularly concerned about not having a secure installation. I don't have grab bars around the toilet, so an occupational therapist recommended pushing down on the toilet seat to get up. I'm a big guy--6'2" and 240 pounds--so I was really concerned that all that pushing would result in the seat shifting, which could be disastrous. I'm now five weeks post-surgery and during that period have had no problems with stability--it's rock solid.As others have said, it looks pretty good and the quick release button is handy for cleaning. Though for me those are just icing on the cake.

First off, let me state I find this toilet seat well worth buying. Well made and designed with care. The seat was obviously a return as the former shipping label was cut out of the box and neither the seat nor assembly parts were in the respective plastic bags, just loose in the box. Since this seat is the second one I have installed, I can see why the person gave up trying to install as it needed a bit of extra thinking.These folks were kind enough to enclose their used assembly parts from their old toilet seat as well (secured in a plastic bag).

this is the perfect solution for me. I have been looking for a round seat raised with attached lid. to make a height difference without buying a new toilet. it was really difficult. most are elongated..this checked all the boxes I was looking for.Kohler came though.. easy to attach strong well made, sturdy, works perfectly giving me height I need.

Excellent Kohler Elevated Toilet SeatKohler has a winner with this toilet seat and hit the design out of the ballpark for a grand slam I am 6’ 5”and the extra 3 inch lift is perfect to get on and off of and is very strong secure and comfortable. I would also say anyone with back problems or physical problems having a hard time to get down to a small toilet will really appreciate the ease of getting on and off of this model and design, I would highly recommend this toilet seat and give it a five star rating. You will not be disappointed with this toilet seat ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We purchased this due to the obvious need for easier accessibility. The elongated model fit perfectly on our Kohler toilet and was pretty easy to install. Just carefully read the directions since there may be a few installation steps that may not be obvious to the less mechanically inclined. So far, seat is structurally sound and comfortable. A few reviews stated that it did not stay in place well. While I do not know the conditions of thier installation, I suspect some of the issues were in the installment. The support brackets must be installed carefully and tightened APPROPRIATELY in order for the seat to be stable.No complaints otherwise. Soft Close is wonderful and works well.

This seat has made it much easier for me and my husband to get up. We are in our late 70’s and instead of installing a brand new toilet for $$$, we bought two of these Kohler seats. So worth it! Easily replaced old seats in only a few minutes. Great purchase. Would recommend.

With very little effort this appears and operates exactly like it came with my old low seated toilet. Great product!

Perfect for a lower toilet. Got this for my mom, her knees are bad and the extra height helped alot. Worth the $ very sturdy, well made. Very easy to install
