These paint brushes from Testor, the model paints company, were just a bit disappointing. The brush handles are white plastic, so thin as to be difficult to manipulate with adult-sized hands. While the brushes come in three sizes, the broadest that I received is less than a quarter inch wide while the finest and the middle are almost identical in size. To be able to get a really fine line, I ended up taking a fingernail clipper and trimming the finest brush by hand.They are easy to clean, which is good. I found that it was just a matter of swishing them around in the solvent and blotting them on a paper towel a few times until they showed clean on the towel.So, is really less a case of “Buyer beware” than it is of “You get what you pay for.” Do not purchase these brushes expecting high quality— these were designed, I suspect, back in the day when 12 year old boys constructed model airplanes from the Dime Store. If you expect more, expect to pay more.I would have given them three stars, but since I only paid $4.38 for them, I gave them four stars (I bought them in March of 2019– they cost a dime more now, in July).

Almost as described. My “Set of 3” brushes came as a set of 2. This package hadn’t been opened so it’s no fault of the distributor. Definitely a Testors factory error.

The brushes are good for applying decalsl and the decalling solutions!
