Cheap but plays well and looks like 80's rock just like my black ESP LTD f-10!
This is a good looking light weight full size electric bass. The only issue we have had, an it is minor, is if both pickups are turned up all the way they seem to cancel each other slightly. The amp is small but clear at low volume. Great for practicing for beginners. I replaced the strings with Hybrid Slinky's and it sounds really good. Bought stronger strap buttons and moved the top one to better balance it. The white one looks great and has close to the same shape as my black ESP LTD f-10. My son loves it!

Perfect starter kit
I got this for my son as his first bass to learn on. He was very excited when it showed up. Very great quality for the price. If I would ask for any improvements, I would ask for a better case, but everything else is perfect.

Great beginner set
My 15 year old son is playing very well on this. He is playing some Black Sabbath, Metallica, Fleetwood Mac etc…Sound is decent but not real loud as it is an entry/practice amp.

Good price and sound but poor build quality
The body style of this bass guitar is attractive. I was also impressed by how light it is. Very comfortable to hold and play. It was set up and correctly tuned out of the box. But there are some issues that come with the territory when purchasing such an inexpensive instrument. For one thing, the balance is all wrong. It's not a deal-breaker but having one strap peg on the back of the body instead of on the side means the neck will tend to dip when standing. Ideally a guitar should stay in basically the same position whether sitting or standing. This means you have to put unnecessary effort into keeping the guitar at the right angle if playing while standing. The strap peg on the back is also a bit uncomfortable while standing. Secondly and most egregious, the output jack is of poor design. Jacks come loose after playing over time, it's a routine thing to happen. However I had to adjust the screws on the jack a couple times a week. This guitar was kept upright in a stand and just played while sitting, so minimal moving around while playing. Continually readjusting the output jack has resulted in the plate on the jack becoming deformed and the screw holes in the body of the guitar which hold the jack in are now stripped. This is partly my fault for using a small philip's head to retighten the jack, but this is something that should only be an issue occasionally, not regularly. As a result the output jack no longer works because it can't be screwed back in. This happened after about three months. If the output was recessed into the body of the guitar (which is more the norm) I don't think that would have been an issue. I only play in my home and about an hour to an hour and a half most days. That's way too much wear for that kind of playing. Using a proper jack tightener might have extended the life. All in all this bass guitar played rather well and was easy to hold, so for the price it's a good entry-level or practice bass. But be aware you'll want to invest in a jack tightener and you may be uncomfortable playing standing.
