My Stove Can Now Act As a Griddle Like in the Professional Kitchens
I recently bought one of those fancy ovens that allow you to sync two of its burners. This griddle allows me to take full advantage of that feature. This is a very solid griddle that you can use with or without the rack, which is easily removed. I really like the griddle's padded handles. they make it much easier to lift the griddle when you need to.I used it to cook bacon and eggs and opted to go without the rack to give it more heat. I really like this griddle it is a solid griddle and is pretty easy to clean. The food did not stick to the griddle at all while I was cooking it. I am very happy with this purchase and this is now my go to griddle. I highly recommend this product.

Heating and cleaning fast and easy
I own a nice set of Anolon cookware, but was without this pan. Grilling has been a great way to cook on the stove top since. Clean-up amazing-no scrubbing. Heavy-duty, and nice pricing too.

Great griddle pan!
I love this pan. It's lightweight, but has a nice solid feel. It grills really well and leaves those well-defined grill marks we all love. It's size is ample for several burgers or chicken breasts, with plenty of room for added veggies. It also cleans like a dream. I've only had it six weeks, so I can't speak definitively about durability, but the non-stick surface seems so strong that I can imagine it lasting for years and years. As I said, I love this pan.

So far so good
So far this pan has exceeded my expectations, and if the non-stick holds up I'll try to remember to come back and add another star. I had been under the impression that the best grill pans were cast iron, with high ridges, but I've had some bad experiences with using cast iron (heavy) on a smooth top stove. So far my experience with this pan has been favorable -- good sear with well defined grill marks using a light weigh pan.I've been washing it in the dishwasher with satisfactory results, although I do have to do some light finishing with a scrubber. The claim is that the handle can go in the oven up to 400 degrees, which I haven't tested yet, but plan to very soon. It does heat up quickly, which is a plus, and I'm really inclined to recommend it.To repeat myself, I had been under the impression that I would need much higher ridges to get good grill marks, so on that score I've been very favorably surprised, and it has also been much easier to maintain than the cast iron pan. I may run into Murphy's Law in few weeks, but everything started quite well.

Useful griddle, quality surface
I've been using this griddle regularly for about six-weeks now. The non-stick surface is really good and, although it is early days, still has that brand new look. Cleanup is a breeze with hot water and a little soap. I will admit that even though the instructions say you can use metal implements on this griddle, I prefer to use plastic. The few times I have used the included metal spatula I have been very gentle; I don't want to needlessly mar the surface. There are numerous comments about bowing and warping. My griddle has a very slight longitudinal bow, but this doesn't bother me and frankly I like that liquid fat will run to the sides. Warping? IMO any cookware that is lightweight, or has a coated surface needs to be treated with care. That means (a) heating evenly, and most important (b) don't subject it to high heat. EVER. If you need to subject your food to thermonuclear temperatures, e.g. searing meat, I would not use this griddle. Use cast iron, much more durable.

Great skillet for turkey burgers
I can’t have an outdoor grill where I live. This works out perfectly.

Great for Camping
I bought this griddle with the intent of using it on my double burner camp stove. It fit perfectly, allows me to evenly cook pancakes, bacon and eggs all at the same time and clean up is as easy as wiping with a sponge and rinsing. It is well built, non stick and I really like the handles which stay cool to the touch.

Design changed -Thinner poor heat distribution
When our old Anolon griddle started sticking we decided to buy a new one. Since we were happy with the original we presumed that the SAME GRIDDLE would be the same. However, the griddle has been re-designed, obviously to maximise profit- so IT IS NOT THE SAME. So, now you see a lot of high scores on Amazon, but for what product? Since Anolon cannot gaurantee what you are getting, they can make the product as cheap as they want as long as people continue to purchase them. The new version is so bad we just threw it away and went back to the original. The real issue is that you can't trust this company as they do not appear to hold quality as their goal, but rather profit. The issue: Pancakes do not cook even and they stick to the pan. The pan is much lighter than the original pan. The original pan was 59oz and the new pan is only 46oz. Take this to the limit and you are cooking on top of a sheet of aluminum foil. Is lighter really better? As an engineer and also a cook I can tell you that thinner pan is NOT better. What you want is stability and even steady heat transfer. So, Anolon started off with a good design, then changed that design to a gimmic. This is very sad because I will NEVER trust an Anolon product again.
