I keep a tire repair kit in each of my vehicles. Ive been using the inexpensive tools that can be found in Walmart or Harbor Freight. While they work, it often takes a lot of force to insert the tire plug. Those cheaper tools are lightweight and some have broke in the past. The Blackjack tools are in a different league than the ones I've been using. These are heavy-duty and I was impressed with the feel of them in my hand as soon as I picked it up. I foresee that I will not have to use as much pressure to insert these into the tires as I have had to with the lightweight ones I've been using. Other than a plier to remove nails/screws from tires, this kit have everything needed to repair a flat. I am very pleased with it, it is a good value for the money.

I went from small tire plugs handles to these nice t bone style plug kit. This kit is amazing. The handles have a great feel to them and fit perfect in my hand. Very durable and solid for reaming the hole or inserting the plug. This kit comes with everything you need. Have had no problems with tires leaking from the plugs. Super easy to use and when done it stores in a nice case. Worth the money and happy to have picked this kit

Been plugging tires for years with no issues .also been replacing ,balancing ,mounting ,patching tires . The tire manufacturer will tell you no plugs because they damage the cord .well what about what punctured it to begin with ? That caused damage . I declare shenanigans on them .plug the damn thing and move in . I've even plugged the sidewalls on tires and drove on it another 30k miles .I won't plug the side in some one else's tires but I have on mine without issues . Plug it up ,if the hole is bigger shoot two of them off in there .given the cost of new rubber I'm gonna drive it until the tire melts off the wheel.
