Great collection!
I ordered the compact (red-backed) version of this collection, and I love it. A lot of reviews have said the print is small. To me, this is debatable. Is it smaller than the original versions? Sure, but I’ve had no issues reading it or seeing the beauty of Herge’s art in the panels, and I’m loving the collection thus far. Unless you have trouble with making out standard-sized letters in general, you should be fine here. I’m not saying that this version is better or worse than the original, but I enjoyed it very much, and I wanted to push back against the claims that the text was too small to be legible. To me, it’s fine, and the art shines through!

Incredible History
Either for a child or a adult who wants to reconnect with their inner-child. This was a perfect gift for me. Cause I'm a lover of history. So as I read these I'm able to imagine myself in the 1930s

Indispensable!
Tintin was the first book I ever check out of the library in the 1960's and I continue to read them periodically today. I have introduced them to my children and my grandchildren. I love the artwork, multitude of characters and the great story lines. I have multiple editions and they have a permanent place in my library.

Okay
It’s okay. The edges of the outer cover were a bit crushed. The books were in good condition. It was a gift, so the outer covering sort of was important

Tintin is awesome
Huge throwback to my 1960s childhood. Great characters and well written stories. Terrific fun all around.

Still the best,
Tintin in America was the first book i ever owned; i had just turned 7. Sixty years later and 5 generations (sociologically) later my grand daughter cannot put it down.

Set of 23 books (only 1 missing). Good buy.
Just what I was looking for! Brings back so many memories of childhood. 23 titles in the set. Hardcover. The only one missing is Tintin in the Congo, probably because of its racist overtones. The font size is a bit small, as some reviewers have mentioned, but I don't find that a problem. The first book in the series -- Tintin in the Land of the Soviets -- is B&W (also has a slightly bigger font); the rest are in color.
