Turtles of the World

Cool book! It was recommended by Kamp Kenan so I was happy to find it on Amazon. It arrived quickly and in great condition. I haven’t read all of it yet but what I have read I’ve thoroughly enjoyed. This is a must have book for any turtle and tortoise keeper or someone who just has a general interest in learning about the different species and their history.

I bought this book for my Mom because she absolutely loves turtles. This book is extremely technical with it's information about turtles and tortoises, I actually think it's a little too technical. This books isn't like an easy reading book that you curl up on the couch with, it's more of text book or dictionary about the many different types of turtles and their scientific names and origin. Regardless of how technical this book is, it's still a great book and makes a great gift for turtle lovers! I would definitely recommend this to others.

Its and book that was publish years ago so the Latin names are often different. Information on animal biology has also koved on. BUT with that in mind there is still masses of great information and really is worth the money.

I liked this book! It was a Christmas present for my grandson, who’s a Junior in HS... and loves the study of Turtles!
