Winner for an audiophile
Absolutely sublime subwoofer. Bought it to complement my quad. Although the sound quality of the quad itself is crisp and clean, it he lack of a subwoofer left much to be desired for an audiophile like myself. So bought the sw5 after much research and review surfing and no regrets whatsoever. The bass quality is top of the line, be it earth shattering, tile quaking power or just a subtle din that hits deep, this subwoofer can handle it all. Easy connectivity, solid signal strength which ensures the connection doesn’t drop like I’ve read in a few reviews, and the thump fills the whole room up(my drawing cum dining is quite long and is larger than the average size). Build quality is premium with fine material. All in all, it’s worth its price.

Amazing bass.
The quality of sound along with ht a7000 is just amazing. I let the volume of subwoofer be at 8 as it originally was and it was loud enough to be felt in the whole room and I'll say I have bigger than average room so totally satisfied with the quality. The music listening experience is also good but I'll suggest decreasing the subw volume by a bit for more clarity in the music from the soundbar.

Awesome Soundbar 🔥🔥🔥 Feel like theatre experience... If u add Sony SA-SW5 300W wireless Subwoofer along with SA-RS5(Wireless Satellite speakers) then believe me u will never going to Multiplex again...your room is enough!!! I already purchased both Soundbar HT- A7000, SUBWOOFER, AND SATELLITE SPEAKERS... Go for it guys! Make your home 'Theatre like experience 🙂 Definitely recommended to buy Sony products!
