Review: At the outset I must acknowledge my bias: I am a long-time friend of the author's younger brother. That said, I strongly recommend this book for those between 16 and 90 years of age who have an interest in American history but who are also very busy people. Where else can you learn most of what you need to know about the 45 American presidents and the important issues of their day in 250 pages or less. And if you don't want to devote much time to Millard Filmore, no problem; the many photos, cartoons and illustrations tell you a whole lot in a short period of time. They also render the facts easy to remember. And this book is fun to read: I now know why a good nickname for Grover Cleveland might be "The Two-timer." And if Andrew Johnson was a baseball fan he couldn't have been all bad. Review: This book is an easy read, and you do not have to read it in order. It arranges the presidents by the region of the country from which they came, and it devotes a few pages each to facts, pictures, a short biography, and the events that happened during their presidency. The book also lists their political history and with whom they ran for president. It is a way to become familiar with any or all of the presidents quickly and easily.

I love it. I met Mr. Eckman on a cruise from Philly/Wash.D.C. on American Cruise Line in May 2013 when he lectured on the Presidents. Please make sure he gets a copy of this email so maybe I will get a response from him. Thanks, Ed Suttles

10 yr old son wanted this for his birthday, he loves to learn about presidents. He has not put it down. Very colorful and informative. I've enjoyed looking and reading it.
