Delicious! Best vegan kimchi!
This is the best tasting vegan kimchi I have found...and I have tried MANY brands! I would love to be able to buy this from one of the local regular or Asian grocery stores (which sell the non vegan Jongga Mat kimchi for about $10 a container). But since I can’t find it locally, I will continue to buy it through Amazon. I order this monthly and each time my order has arrived well packed. The container is always wrapped in plastic, then placed inside of a reusable zippered insulated bag with plenty of reusable cooling bags surrounding the container. A couple of times the inner seal that’s inside the lid of the container wasn’t fully sealed, but I believe that happened because the fermented gases inside the container caused the airpressure to increase, causing the lid to expand. Both times this happened, my package sat on my front porch for a couple of hours because I wasn’t able to bring it inside right when I got the delivery notification. Only one time did anything leak outside of the first layer of protection (the plastic bag). Highly recommend this product! Will definitely be ordering again.

This must be the best kimchi I have tried so far. Well spiced and a bit spicy. But damn it's good. It's a big container. It will last a good time, which is good. And for that price... I really really liked this

Do not buy this slimy disgusting kimchi
You may get food poisoning with this kimchi.The kimchi took 12 days to arrive. They packed it in insulated bag with a couple of ice packs. Well obviously that's useless if it takes 12 days; indeed the packs were melted and the kimchi went bad; it is slimy, gooey and tastes awful. I've had kimchi for 30 years and never seen slimy and gooey kimchi in my entire life. Extremely disgusting.

Kimchi contines to expand after it is packaged
Product is tasty but packaging is an issue, ordered several times and everytime leaks one time beyond recovery

It's fine
Shipping:Quicker than expected, which was nice. Kimchi was almost warm when I brought the package in though - maybe an extra ice pack would help?Product:It's not fantastic kimchi, but it's okay. It's like.. a solid 6.5 on the kimchi perfection scale. Doesn't have that special stank to it, which I count as a severe minus. But it's vegan, quenches the kimchi cravings just fine, and comes at a pretty good price in a quantity that will last for more than one meal. Fairly satisfied, will probably buy again.

Spoilage
This comes with a simple plastic seal on the lid, wrapped nicely in bubble wrap and with an ice pack, however the contents are not fresh because there was NO AIRTIGHT SEAL protecting and preserving the food so it’s no different than food staying out. If this is imported from Korea as stated and shipped from CA to where I am on the east coast, who knows how long it has been since made. Fresh Food requires airtight sealing.

It's Korean taste. It may feel too sour and fermented if you have normal American taste.
I'm pretty sure that the flavor of this product is what I ate in Korea. I'm really enjoying this kimchi with rice and ramen. However, if you are not familiar with Asian food, I recommend you to buy another kimchi. It may too sour and fermented for you guys.Unless you are not the fan of Asian food, this product is nice choice for enjoying original kimchi taste.
