Very nice solid piece of furniture. Instructions for the assembly were easy and only tool needed was a Phillips head screwdriver. Tip: give yourself lots of space and layout all of the pieces and parts in order and when your assembling make sure that you hit every page. Had a couple of times where the pages stuck together and I didn't realize it and had to go back to do a step I missed. Perfect size for our small home office and like that we can lock some of our more sensitive information up.

Great storage space

It's a bit flimsy--even by flatpack standards--but that's just because the rear side provides zero structural support. If you get a piece of plywood or 1/4 or even 3/16 MDF and screw onto the back it should stop the wobbliness because the rest of the boards actually pretty sturdy. I used a set of 5" furniture legs instead of the wheels to make it "Roomba-compatible" (you know what I mean if you have one).The lock is not going to keep a determined thief out, but at least no one's getting that top drawer open without you knowing it was opened. The rails are lightweight but quiet and smooth enough.The instructions were clear enough, so all in all it's reasonable deal for a hundo.

Beautiful and easy to assemble it .

It was easy enough to put together. The drawers don’t open up as far as they should given their depth. The lock mechanism only works for the top drawer. It could have offered a bit more bang for its buck. I don’t anticipate it lasting beyond 2-3 years.

Missing one of the drawer sliders. Contacted manufacturer to send me missing part. Manufacturer said they are not able to send me missing piece but would refund me $24 dollars to purchase part. Unfortunately still have not been able to find correct size drawer slider. It is assembled but unable to use one of the file drawers.

This file cabinet is just what I was looking for! It was delivered in a large, heavy box that was very well packaged. There was some damage to the cardboard box, but because of the hard cardboard corners inside the contents were protected. I've built and assembled a lot of different things previously, so assembly for me was very easy, the instruction book included was very clear and easy for someone who has put things together before. All parts were labeled well with stickers. If you aren't experienced with assembly, you may have a more difficult time. But I did read at the end that there may be a video link to help people in that situation.

I was really surprised how nice this was after it was put together. The two file cabinet drawers are big and one has a lock on it. It was easy to put together and it doesn't look cheap.
