A few tips
This is the second one I installed as a secondary A/C in an ambulance. Installation isn't for the faint of heart or typical DIY, and even though instructions are in English now, they lack some important details so here we go...You will burn this motor out if you don't actually stick the temperature sensor onto the compressor against the high side. Tape it on there tight with high temp tape. The fan is ground triggered if you plan on using a relay for it which i recommend. The middle red wire is always hot.If you intend to put it on a main power switch using a relay, the small red wire that's originally against the big one can be used.

Not happy but hopeful
So far I followed the instructions step by step. I’m a electrical contractor so the electrical part was the easiest for me. It’s already pre wired actually. You just have to connect it. I’m having issues with the refrigerant and I’m wanting to contact them but I don’t see any contact information despite their willingness to help. Does anyone know where I can get technical help?

This is not an easy install, instructions are not very good.
The instructions included with this are laughable at best! Install is not for the faint of heart but of you know what your doong it isnt to bad.. installed it and charged it no leaks and its blowing cold air, feels great.Seller said you can run off alternator, well i tried that and i was getting inconsistant voltage, ran it to my battery and it was over amping but not undervolting like off tje alternator.Heres the kicker and what jammed me up bad, the harness they include to exstend the fan wires was terminated in the wrong polarity. And this kind doesnt matter except i soddered my ac fan wires on trusting the pinout of this, and it led to my fan running backwards and not cooling my condensor eventually the compressor would over amp and turn off.Pretty sure it ruined my alternator too, because all of a sudden its pumping out 12.8 to the battery and dropping to 11.4 witg the compressor on.Replaced the alternator with a 70amp one and now its working great.Change your alternator if it isnt gonna keep up and make sure you got a healthy battery before installing this.3 stars becauae seller was great and helpful but the quality control on the harness is a joke and so are the instructions.Basically your gonna go off a few puctures and you better have the courage to figure the rest out.

Not for DIYers. Be prepared to crimp BH13 hose and do a bit of rewiring
I can't find any shops around me to crimp AC hose, so I bought a crimper off Amazon for ~$150. Only problem is none of the crimpers on Amazon have dies big enough for BH13 hose. I'm going to see if I can't squeeze everything into a 12 crimp die, but if that doesn't work, then I've gotta buy some more connectors and cut some of the leftover hose to replace the BH13 line. They advertise that there's a new controller, but I still got the old one. Also had to rewire some of it to add in a relay as per instructions in the box. If I hadn't had an AC tech buddy I paid with a case of beer, I would have had to send it back.Overall, I'm happy and the quality seems good, but it's not a kit for the regular Joe to set up. May be easier if you can also read Chinese. Instructions also have English, but some of the translations are spotty. With all that said, I wasn't able to find anyone else selling 12v AC kits, so they're really the only game in town as of writing.EDIT: Downgrading to 2 stars after compressor seized up and I'm getting an error code of 7 quick flashing lights, but can't find what this means anywhere.EDIT #2: Upgrading to 3 stars after responses from seller. Turns out you cannot mount the compressor sideways. None of the instructions sent to me mentioned that, but after looking over the listing, it does mention that compressors must be mounted vertically, so that's on me I guess. The compressor did last for over a year with moderate use. 7 flashes means compressor wiring short. Now I get to practice rewinding rotors...

The unit doesn't come with wiring instructions and no bolts to install. seller does not respond.
I am trying to install into my stock 40 ford with a flat head engine and the low horse power will hot pull an AC compressor, so I decided to use electric compressor kit. The are no bolts in the kit and no wiring instructions. With their control panel that is a bit confusing. The seller does not respond to the inquire i send through amazon. It would be a great product if it could be installed. There is very limited space to get components under the vehicle but with some effort it can be accomplished.
