This is a great cane: functional and very attractive, I get lots of complements when I use it. It beaks down into three separate pieces that join together via some very nice brass fittings. The fittings contribute to the overall look of the cane. Worth every penny.BTW, the packaging was very attractive and there is a velvet bag that the pieces fit into nicely., so this would make an awesome gift, (just be sure you order tyhe correct length.)

This is a really nice cane and I love the fact that I can easily dismantle it when traveling. It's very sturdy and feels very stable when walking with it. Even while inspecting my luggage at Heathrow, the security check mentioned how "posh" they found the cane to be. I'm currently not using it (hip replacement), but know it will come in handy once again sooner or later.

I’m looking forward to using this cane. It breaks down into three pieces, allowing me to easily pack it. I am very impressed with the workmanship. It is truly beautiful to look at. I have given it four stars because I think it has one design flaw. I don’t have large hands. I am a male and I wear a medium size glove. When I put my hand over the top of the cane my pinky finger slips off the end. that is a bit bothersome. I can alleviate that problem if I wrap my index finger around the vertical portion of the cane, but that is not comfortable. The handle of the cane should have been made longer. The current design is best suited for a person with very small hands. I have one more idea which will not be needed by everyone, but also will cost the manufacturer almost nothing. I use my cane on icy conditions when they exist. The manufacturer could easily include with the normal plastic tip a second tip with three or four short, sharp spikes that would not slip on ice

Hardwood and connecting hardware is high quality. Seems like it will hold up well. I like the weight. The little band under the hand piece, on the other hand, seems flimsy. I'll be replacing that with some tight wound gold wire.

I was surprised how nice the quality of this cane actually is. Beautiful wood (It is indeed real ebony)…and skillfully made.

This cane is exceptional! From the pristine packaging to the stunning substantial wood, you just know at first glance that this is the functional treasure you were looking for. I have traveled on a plane with a cane before and it was difficult finding a place for storage. This certainly solves that problem. The three sections of the cane easily affix to one another so assembly & disassembly takes little effort. I am at awe of the beautiful wood as well as the workmanship of this piece. This also came with an additional tip which is an added plus! For me, this purchase is perfection!!!

I bought the IMMMS cane after buying and immediately returning a much better known and somewhat less expensive brand that was extremely disappointing in both appearance and construction.This device, on the other hand, is even more formidable in person than in the product description. Extremely beautiful wood and luxury feel, and built like the proverbial tank. It is considerably more elegant than most of the other overdone high end canes I have seen, those with the sculptures and virtual gargoyles welded onto the handle. The IMMMS is very straightforward and uncompromisingly elegant. It really is a utilitarian work of art.There are only two potential drawbacks. The lack of a rubber tip took a little getting used to at first, but it looks better this way in my opinion, is actually better on some surfaces, and if you don't like it you can get 3/4 inch diameter rubber tips just about anywhere. Furthermore, this cane is heavy. For me, this is not a drawback. I love the solid feel and sense of solidity it conveys, although I can imagine it being a problem for people whose upper body strength is seriously compromised.In short, I am extremely impressed with this cane. Highly recommended, even if you don't need a cane to help you walk!
