OMG! This is the best ointment for chiggers. I tried 5 other products before someone suggested this one. It STOPPED 🛑 the itching and the bites finally started healing. I have several bites on my leg from a walk in the woods with my dog. I suffered for days! I was miserable 😞. This ointment totally did the trick. I will always have it as part of my ointment collection ❣️

This cream stops chigger itch fast. I have found nothing else that works as completely as this product. It has gone through several name changes and company changes since I discovered it so many years ago, but the important part is the product has never changed. I use this with gloves, and make sure the itchy area is clean. I usually use a soothing toner( no alcohol) that will not further spread the fire. Then I apply this cream and gently rub it in. You may need to do several passes until the itch calms down. I also take an allergy pill to fight the itchiness from the inside. You may wish to wear socks to keep the area from getting irritated or just leave it be. The cream goes on white but will dry invisible and is not greasy. I was pleasantly surprised at the large size of this one from Amazon. This is great, as the usual containers are much smaller. Be sure to use gloves: this cream has the same consistency as cream you use for a babys diaper rash. It will be very difficult to wash it completely off your hands.

This is not an instant itch reliever, but in about 5 minutes you realize you don't have the urge to scratch. Good for mosquitoes in Canada and sand flies in Florida. I now always carry some with me.

This product seem useless to me when I’d get a flea bite on mosquito bite and rub the product on it. It didn’t seem to stop the itching and it didn’t seem to repel them. I would not recommend this product although it’s very creamy might be good for your skin, but not for stopping itching or stopping bites.
