Great product, fit great and would look awesome but for the shipping damage. The damage is minimal, some scratches and whitening where the plastic was bent (on the bottom side luckily). Fearing the same would happen only worse if exchanged I kept this one.The box was flimsy with no padding or reinforcing framework to protect the item. There is a bend on the top edge that is noticeable, not sure if shipping damage of imperfection during manufacturing that caused it. It’s not in as good a shape as I would have liked it to be but I’ll live with it.Other than that I love it and it looks great on my truck.

*you will need to drill your hood*Easy straight forward instructions clean the bottom of the hood with alcohol to stick with 3m tape and drill ur hood in 4 spots already marked on the deflector after that you use the included fastners that will require a good muscle to get them in and secured.the quality is ok for the price the shape is a bit off but no one will notice.the company logo was misplaced on mine it was all wack placed but not much of a concern.if you can follow the 4 step instructions you can install less than 30 min.*01 ford ranger with power dome*

Since I read reviews I knew I would have to drill holes so I was not surprised by that. Fitment was good for my truck and looks good. Only con would be that the expansion fittings that fit into the holes that needed to be drilled did not feel like they tightened down well since I believe the screw was plastic. I may eventually have to replace with metal screws.

Good products and communication will buy again. ++++

Everything ok other than fedex left my package by the road 100 yards from my house where someone could it stole it very easy.. I like my deliveries with Amazon truck. Fedex sucks 👎🏼

They said it fits my ford ranger But seems to me it’s about 2 inches to long on both Sides and they said no drilling Well I did have too !

I installed this on my father's 2003 Ford Ranger. The bug deflector itself is a nicely made product, looks good on the truck and fits well. The reason for only giving it three stars is because of misleading installation statements. One of the first things they say in the product info for this application is "no drilling required". I figured they'd use existing holes in the hood inner frame to secure it. I opened the box and unwrapped the part, pulled out the instructions, and the first thing it says under "What you will need" is a drill. Sure enough, it requires drilling for the retainers. It's a good product, but buyers need to be aware that the "no drilling required" may not apply.

Easy to install but will need a drill. Not sure how secure the mounting hardware is.
