I bought this to use in sales presentations for a pet company. I sat in my back of my car and used it for demonstration for dog boots. It’s a charming dog and it has an interesting expression. That’s what the review is really about. The quality is good but the dog is making the face that a dog makes only when you’re scratching someplace where there’s a hot button you know you’ve hit gold. Somehow they captured that so it’s a true piece of art away. Not sure if child would understand it, but they should….it should be explained to them…. And demonstrated…. if you just scratch the dog like you would under the neck the expression comes alive. Very well done.

My daughter used this as a prop for her Cruella de Vil costume, and it was absolutely perfect! So many people thought it was a real dog and couldn’t stop talking about it. I’ll admit, I was a little hesitant about the price at first, but once it arrived, I could see it was totally worth it. The quality and realistic look made her whole costume stand out.

I really was not and still am not happy to have this gigantic stuffed dog in my house. However, it was a “wow” gift for Christmas morning for my 4 year old daughter. She loved it!!!! The dog stands very well. His legs can be pushed further apart to help with that. She doesn’t really play with him, but he sits beside her bed and is the perfect height for his head to rest right beside her pillow. It’s so sweet. She really loves it, so I’d say it was worth the money. Quality is good.

I purchased this Dalmatian a few days for Christmas for my grandson who is a year and a half but he loves big dogs. I had ordered the Melissa and Doug German Shepherd which I did not like as his face was very scary and I immediately returned. The Dalmatian is such a beautiful dog( he’s soft and the face is very friendly and eyes are beautiful. he was a hit with my grandson and I love him. He looks just as advertised and he’s tall. the box that it comes in is huge it - looks like you’re getting a washing machine but it’s very light weight, maybe 4 pounds. The dog is in a plastic bag. This dog is so soft and again I can’t describe how happy I am. Picture is of his face in the plastic bag. happy holidays

I ordered four large, stuffed animals, for four granddaughters for Christmas. All are Melissa & Doug, which never disappoints as to quality. The Dalmatian has the most realistic-looking head and face, and this Nana is going to have a hard time giving it up, lol!

I found the all black one at a thrift store for $5 . My daughter opened a pet grooming salon and wanted these for the window. This was on sale for cheap so I bought it for her. People think they are real dogs in the window !

It feels like good quality. I recommend.
