Great Product for Watch Makers
This is a well known go to product for watch makers. It is great for dabbing to clean up light oil and dirt from a watch movement. It also works well to temporarily provide a third hand for holding tiny parts in place while placing screws. The only caution is it can stick to latex finger cots on occasion and leave a sticky residue so handle lightly.

Neve knew I needed it.
Until I got into learning watch repair, I had no idea I needed Rodico! What is it and why would any one need this? Well, that's easy, and hard, to explain. Rodico has been referred to recently by one popular YouTube amateur watchmaker as, "Silly Putty for adults." That's somewhat correct, but not really. Silly Putty is a "modeling" putty as Crayola (the current maker) describes it. But when I was a kid (a really long time ago) Silly Putty was this amazing ( and honestly, pointless) toy I played with. You could stretch it from one Sunday to next, and it would retain its elasticity. You could spread it over a page of newsprint (I know, what's newsprint?) and it would absorb a likeness of whatever it was spread over. And you could take that likeness and stretch it into amazingly funny shapes, distorting everything! Like I said, pointless. But despite today's litigiousness world, it was harmless and great fun! That is not what Rodico is or does. No, mostly it's used in watch repair to hold things, pick up things, absorb oils, clean watchmaking tools, provide support, hold onto watch parts and screws, keep things apart and so many other uses that one's imagination can come up with! How does it do all of this? Well, it's pliable and absorbent, yet it's also "clean", doesn't stain things or leave deposits of any kind. It's soft and moldable, yet firm. If you want a better idea of what Rodico is and can do, just check out some of those watch repair/restoration videos available online. As for my use of it, well I'm just getting started with watch repair, so I haven't had much experience with it yet. But so far I've used it to remove excess watch lube from gears and cases, picked up debris off of watch dials and yesterday, for the first time, I made a support "log" of it on my bench to hold the balance wheel, hair spring and the balance cock apart from each other without disassembling them so I could check the "impulse pin" on the balance shaft. Chances are if you are into working on watches you already know what Rodico is. If you're aren't working on watches then you've probably never heard of Rodico, and probably will never need to hear of it. Regardless, it turns out the stuff is really handy for me and others doing this work. Price-wise, it's on the expensive side, but it should go a long ways and for watchmakers, it's a necessity!

Good stuff
This stuff works well for cleaning dust from your watch. I am an amateur watch enthusiast.I needed to reset the second hand on my SNK807. (I dropped it and the second hand popped off.). This did the trick for cleaning things up before putting everything back together.Well worth the investment.

Essential for watch repairs
Rodico is simply magical when it comes to watch repairs and other such things. You can take a small chunk of it and use to clean little specks of dust, use it to place hands, remove tiny objects with it and so on. It's definitely one of the top 5 most important tools you need for watch works.
