So I make and sell handmade items on Etsy, but my issue was having selfie sticks from both the dollar store (it was the bendable leg type) and one from 5below just randomly break on me. I ended up getting this one over a different brand because this has the light with it and at the time of my purchase there was a sale going on at that time. Pros and cons!Pro:using it as a normal selfie sticks is actually pleasant to hold. It's a decent size where I'm not straining my hand to have a grip on itThe light has three settings, and three levels of brightness. And it doesn't get in the way of anything.Easy to extend and easy to moveExtremely light weight, so I can carry in an extra big pocket and be fine.I may have gotten a new model since it's very different from the photo of the listing. But I like it more because it's easier to just toss and go. Instead of making sure you have your ring light and such.It's a microUSB so no need to fear of leaving it on the charger for too long. There is a light indicator that's red and will go off when it's done charging.Simple light operation, there a gray rubber rectangle on the side withe button for the light in the middle of it. So it's not only easy to see the button but it also makes sure if you have this is a bag or backpack that the light doesn't turn on and stay on by accident. To turn off you just click the button once to change lighting and then turn off. Long press to make each light setting brighter up to three levelsOf course remote! No need to download a separate app to make it work. Just connect it directly to your phone, and go to your camera settings and look for the option to use your volume button as the shutter button. When you then click on the remote it will take a picture or start/stop recording a videoCons:If you extend it fully and quickly, it snaps the legs into place. However for me, I can't get it to close easily and have to use quite a bit of force. So I have to extend it slowly so the legs still open but aren't locked in. At first saw it as a pro until I tried to close itThis next two I can live with, but it's good to let others know just in case -The legs are in a stationary position. So if they're in the shot if you're trying to to a top down view, there's nothing you can do. Since the holder doesn't go 180° front to back you can't just flip it the other way where two of the legs are furthest away. I will probably get some lightweight seasonal decor to help cover the legsThe light has, in my opinion, a very short time. I like to make sure my shot for my Etsy shop tiktok videos a certain way. Making sure like a blanket isn't in frame and such. Thankfully while my phone is recording the light stays on (I do have an issue of losing track of time doing a task)---Overall amazing product! Just the slight difficulty with closing it back up if you extend it too quickly. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants something basic and yet still be highly functional (my husband and I used it as a portable lamp during a trip since we couldn't find our phones. First light on third level of brightness worked out great) or a good starting tripod.*I paid for the product myself this is my honest review*

Worked well for our trip to Italy. The telescope went high above the crowds in Florence for Easter celebration at the duomo. Practice with it first so you know how best to use it before you need it.

So compact, great idea! I want to love it, but it won’t work for my needs. I tried angling the phone downwards so it could film me doing something with both of my hands (and just my hands, not the rest of my body), but the tripod would tip over. The phone was too heavy for it, that the angle would droop over, filming the tripod instead. I feel like this would be great if you are filming yourself actually, but again, not for my needs.

We used this on a trip to Death Valley, CA, and it was perfect! Very sturdy and could stretch all the way out without bending for a selfie, and Bluetooth connected quickly. Did not try it as a tripod, but it would do a good job with its sturdiness. The white with gold metal accents is very pretty!

The packaging was all open and box was bent. The selfie stick was not in its package as if it was returned. Poor packaging. Bought this to gift for a birthday present. Quality of selfie stick seems lightweight.

I thought this would be a great compact option to be able to use on desktop or mobile but I was wrong!! The light works for 10-30 seconds on full charge, you can't put a modern phone vertically to have the light behind the camera for good lighting, if you want to charge your phone or want access to the bottom of it for any reason it's nearly put of the phone holder and even when fully in the holder it's very unsafe and phone most likely will fall out of you use it as a selfie pole, when using as a tripod it's wobbly and if you try and raise the height while in tripod mode it will become top heavy and slightest movements make it shake and potentially tip over, only time this thing is even close to decent is when it's not extended and you don't need to use the bottom of your phone for anything and even then be careful!!

Purchased this selfie/tripod for a recent trip to Vegas. Very convenient taking pictures as well as recording myself. Love that it fit in my purse without taking much room. Great adjustment. ❤️❤️❤️ the selfie light and that it is rechargeable. Bluetooth setup very simple. Remote worked perfectly.
