When a hook failed on the strap of my favorite attache case, I kind of panicked. It could barely have happened at a worse time. The first chance I had, I headed over to amazon to see what I could find.I was looking for a strap with a bolt snap (hook) that was more robust that the one that broke. I look at several products, and settled on this one because the anchor for the bolt snap appeared much better than those on the strap that came with my case, I liked the wider strap width, and it wasn't made in China.The strap came in a couple days, and when I affixed it to my attache, I knew I had a winner. My bag gets heavy with all the tech gear I drag around (not including my lunch), and I could see that the hardware on this strap was not going to fail. With my old strap, I was forever adjusting it so that it would be the length I wanted it to be. I set my desired slack with this strap, and in the few weeks i've been using it, ever day mind you, I have not had to adjust the length once.I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to replacing a flimsy, overpriced original part that failed on some over rated designer brand (cough: kenneth cole). You won't be sorry.

I bought this as a replacement strap for my Think Geek Bag Of Holding. It is a large bag that gets very heavy,It lives up to its name. It holds a lot! It weighs 25-30 pounds fully loaded. I carry books, my lunch and much more daily.The previous two straps had the clips give out due to the weight of the bag. The original strap's clips from Think Geek gave out two months after purchase. the second one was from a Kenneth Cole attache that I had and it lasted for 3+ years.The strap at 1 1/2 inches is too narrow and the weave is thin and I am perpetually trying to get it untwisted. This bag need a wider and heavier strap. The rubber shoulder pad/grip is too hard and slips constantly and digs into my neck and shoulder. Even with the padded cover.The clips look sturdy and have held up since August. and the length is OK. I try to shorten it with the sliders from both ends to keep it at hip level, but they eventually slip and the bag is hitting me in my knee.I still think that this is a good strap for something far lighter in weight than what I needed it for.

Bought this as a replacement strap for a pet carrier that I was taking with me to travel home for the holidays. I ordered it because it was extra long and my pet carrier had the option to roll so needed the extra bit of strap to help with that. It held up and worked great, however, the strap did dig into my shoulder quite a bit when I was carrying the bag more like a duffel bag. Wish the strap had a bit more padding on it and I may be looking for some sort of padding to use before my next trip. Overall very good, sturdy product.

Nice quality product. I'm hoping that it will support carrying my Hydro Flask 64 oz water bottle. The only thing I didn't care much about is the shoulder pad but I knew that before purchasing. What was important to me that it can easy carry the weight of my 64 oz water bottle without failure, according to other reviews, I don't think I have to worry about that. I like the strap and hardware feels very strong.

I use this strap attached to carabiner on a cat carrier for better weight distribution and for better security than the flimsy plastic handle on the cat carrier. The strap balances well, very strong, and has shoulder padding.

Works as advertised. Sturdiness and durability will be determined after prolonged use. Comfort would be improved with some foam padding added to the strap pad. Length is easily adjustable. I like the ability to adjust both sides of the strap to keep the shoulder pad centered.

Exactly what I was looking for, fairly strong clips and strong straps. Working great although I'm not putting too much weight on them but for the abuse they are taking at work and at home, they'll last a while.

We used this to replace a lost strap on an xl LL Bean duffle--about 50 lb when packed. We now traveled overseas twice with it, and the strap has held up as well as the original. Solid construction and reliable.
