CACC
If you're interested in the history of CACC this is a great place to start. The book is an easy read and I found it interesting. I got through it fairly quickly.I have the ebook version and my only real criticisms are that the verbal discription of techniques followed by a small photo do not really value add too much. Having trained Catch for a number of years, I know and understood what I was reading however, I did find it a little clunky to read a text explanation of a lockflow.I like the concept of throwing examples mid text but maybe with technology a brief video link could be thrown in instead of 4 small photos?

Interesting book
Is not a catch wrestling manual, it is more what it's means Catch wrestling for the author, how was this Journey for him, Also has awesome interview with Joel bane, and a small part of catch as can catch history i really enjoyed it is a real good book for all the Martial arts fans.

A great read about a journey to find authentic CACC in the United States
I have been studying and training Catch as Catch Can Wrestling for a year now at the Snake Pit USA Affiliate Crossroads MMA in Fredericksburg, Virginia and I must say that Mr. Dimarzio's enthusiasm and and quest to learn all he can about CACC reminds me of my own quest to learn authentic CACC from an authentic source. It was a great read and you can tell from the start that the author did plenty of research and has a tremedous amount of respect for the art. His interview with Snake Pit USA Co-Founder Joel Bane was very informative. I've had the pleasure of training with Coach Bane a few times, his attention to detail is bar none. You don't attend a Snake Pit USA Seminar that he teaches and not learn something. The same goes for Snake Pit USA's other Co-Founder Coach John Potenza. Both men are world class coaches that run a world class organization that teaches Catch as Catch Can in its purest form. If you ever had an interest in Catch Wrestling, do yourself a favor and pick up this book. Read about Mr. Dimarzio's journey to find authentic Catch Wrestling and how much he fell in love with it once he found it. It'll definitely peak your curiosity.

Awesome
I thought the book was informative. I enjoyed the interview with Coach Bane. He is a beast. I train in bjj with a wrestling back ground. I find I enjoy no holds bar much better. A submission is a submission.

Good Story
Good story on the re emergence of CACC. I liked the association of Snakepit USA. Would have liked a required reading list at the end.

Great book for those interested in learning about catch
Great read for those looking to learn more about catch wrestling and its history as well as to understand it's interesting resurgence. As a BJJ guy I wanted to add to my game and sought out to learn more about this art form. Luckily, my school has become an affiliate and have been training catch. Hats off to the author for writing a good book and to coaches Bane and Potenza for their efforts in bringing catch to the masses.

Neat Interview, Super Short though
Overall, this transcript of an interview was a nice short enjoyable read. This is by no means a novel or an instructional book.It is an interesting "self-memoir" about the Founder of Snake Pit USA Coach Joel Bane.He definitely has an interesting back story and seems like a true warrior with an extremely accomplished & well rounded training background. That being said, I wish I would have read this as a Free PDF on the Snake Pit Site and not purchased a full priced book to read what is essentially a transcription of an Interview with Coach Joel Bane.
