Great cable cutting tool
I've been doing some land cleanup and ran across a bundle of 0AWG and a large section of wire I wanted to recycle. They were too big to use wire cutters but too small and flexible for a hacksaw. Saw these, and they turn out to be perfect for snipping those wire bundles down to manageable sections that I can recycle. For the price, they are well worth it. Easily cuts through cables.

3 years and still going.
Bought these in 2023 and use them weekly. They are still cutting perfectly. Great buy

Work ok, good for $$, desin has some issues when it comes to trimming short pieces off
For the $$ these are great, I have used them for 1/0 and 2/0 cable so far with success. They are a bit slow compared to say large sheers, but that's OK, these fit in a tool box and can be used in tight spaces, such as the bilge of of boat, with one hand. The issue with them is, however, the sheers are not sharp, and the way they crush down on the wire, the space between the sheers, if you cut right in the middle of a piece of cable that is so many feet long - you will be happy, they work well. But the design depends on the strands of the cable being well locked into the conduit: If you try to say trim 2 inches, what the sheers do is they pull the strands out of the tag end and get all jammed up with strands of cable between the sheers - the design falls on it's face basically. An improvement, which would likely solve the above issue would be sharper sheers. So, for cutting long pieces - GOOD. For trimming a little off - BAD. Mostly we are cutting, not trimming, so this remains a good tool IMO, however it does not alleviate the need to have a cutting disc around if you need to take a bit off a piece of cable. They might trim OK if you grab the tag end (which you are discarding anyway) with vice grips, to hold the strands tightly in place.

Gettin er did.
Absolutely stout for the price. Cutting number 2 copper stranded to 1/0 primary underground wire it’s perfect. A dang good deal. Buy them you won’t be sorry. Heck even if they only lasted a month it would be a good deal but bet they’ll last longer. As long as you’re not trying to cut a winch cable but stay to aluminum or copper, you’re good.

Cut well and feel sturdy
Cutters feel well built, was kind of concerned what I was going to get for the price point but ended up happy with my purchase. They work well on 2/0 copper which is what I mainly use on residential homes. The cut is smooth and clean. They do take a few more pumps of the hand vs say Klein cutters , but for the price you can't go wrong. One thing I'm unsure of is when I purchased them there was a $2 upgrade option. I'm not sure what it is but I figured why not.

For Occasional Use, Not Pro Grade
This cut 00 and 0000 copper welding cables very well. In a pinch, when I couldn’t find my PVC pipe cutter, these pliers cut 3/4” PVC pipe as well. The metal thickness of these pliers do not feel like they would last under daily use, which is why I did not rate them a 5 star. They will serve your purpose if you are a home owner or DIYer who need to make up your own cables from time to time. If you are a professional tradesman that cuts cable on a daily basis, I recommend you spend a little more money and buy a professional set of wire cutters.
