Renogy 8ft. 10 AWG Wire Copper Tray Cable - Connect Charge Controller and Battery, Black

This is great. The connectors are solid and well made. The wire gauge is thick and can handle the transfer of electricity without overheating. I like the in line fuses and yes, they do actually blow at the correct amperage.

I am editing my post see original below, I received a timely response about this issue. They are correcting this quality control issue. I am not receiving a refund or replacement of the item, nor am I looking for such. I first rated them 1 star, I am now rating it 5 stars, as I believe this will not be an issue in the future. so I received my package in a timely manner when the package arrived it was well packaged, the outside of the package showed no sign of damage. The cable itself is good, but the ring connectors are cheap and poorly crimped. One of the connectors was not even on the cable just loose in the bag that it was packaged in, I saw the ring connector was crimped down somewhat but obviously not enough. While inspecting the cables there were no nicks or scratches on the cable sheathing but half the wire strands on the other ring connector that was connected were not even crimped in to the connector. I ended up having to purchase quality ring connectors and crimping them on properly. If this is any indication of the quality control of Renogy products, I would have to recommend to stay clear of Renogy when purchasing solar equipment.

So, it's not hard to add some red heat shrink at both ends of one wire for a connection that must be polarized, but how hard can it be to sell a set with one red wire and one black wire? Had I looked more carefully at the picture, I'd have made up a set myself. Nice cables, ends well installed, definitely a quality product and such, but...both are black!

12V wire attached to battery and controller. Has one job does it well. Used with 30amp fuse configuration.

I bought this as an extra for my portable solar panels. I cut the clamps off and put Anderson PowerPoles on. Now the solar panel can be plugged right into my batteries or distribution block for ham radio.
