Works as well as the OEM accessories at a better price
Sony has discontinued the FS7 in favor of the FX9 but it's far from being obsolete. In fact, the FS7 was so good that it took the FX9 a year or so to really gain traction. BTW, if you're looking to get into serious film/video work you could do much worse than investing in a used FS7.While OEM accessories for the now discontinued FS7 are getting more difficult to find it's still a very popular camera and there's a growing number of third party manufacturers filling the void. This camera base plate/shoulder pad/grip is a perfect fit with the FS7. It's well made with high quality materials (anodized aluminum) and is definitely up to the task of handling a large video camera like the FS7. Not much else to say about it but it is well made, does the job and is sold at a nice value price. Highly recommended!
