OSX could not properly power the mic input for the Hyper X Cloud Stinger. This has completely fixed that issue! The headphone audio sounds great. The mic audio has some slight room noise on the highest volume setting, but otherwise it's great. The mute and volume controls on the device itself are very handy. Highly recommend this for anyone having issues with headsets on OSX.

It workworked fine the first few days of use, but I started to hear a little bit of audio glitching after 5 days. 6th day, the volume kept increasing my volume to maximum no matter what I did (Button broke)Not reliable, I didn't damage it at all, it just started doing this randomly.Do not recommend

It worked right out of the box, but the minimum volume level on MacOs is far too loud.Update: After my initial review (above) the company reached out to me to offer me a refund, which impressed me. I decided instead to keep it, and continue to use it.

I'm using this to plug an headset into a laptop and have decent volume control. I do like that it helps extend the length of the cord AND allows me to turn volume up and down. I did not forsee that the voice volume (in addition to the convenient mute button) would sometimes cause issues. For the price I'm not going to complain much, but often when I first turn on the computer if I get into voice, I must turn up the voice volume or no one can hear me. I never had to do this with the other headsets I have and I don't have to do it on my desktop with discord so I believe it is the device. The sound quality is very nice and people have commented that I am very clear. So overall its a great little external sound connector for the price!

Works great. I needed sound on my mini pc after the on board audio quit working. It's also plug and play

Works better than the standard usb connetor for the HYPERX CLOUD gaming headset. But my main concern is an annoying static sound while using it. It becomes white noise at first but if you are trying to play a game that requires 100% of your hearing, this can interfere with it.
