I absolutely love this journal!! It's the perfect size and I love the pages. They're thick enough so my pen doesn't bleed through. The cover looks just like the picture, which is what drew me to this particular journal. Shipping was fast as well. I just can't say enough about how much I love this journal.

I decided I wanted a grimoire, so I bought this. It’s more beautiful than I imagined it was going to be. Well worth the buy.

Bought it for a 7 yo diary. Everyone was very pleased. Sturdy, fancy and the "old fashioned" paper is just right.

Bought for some friends as a journal/notebook. They loved it and were very impressed with the quality. Interesting looking paper to write/sketch, etc. on but that adds to the 'look' of the notebook. A little on the small side for some uses but it gives the size in the description so you know hat you are getting.

The paper was off from the binder by a smidge but it seems good

This journal looks exactly like the product images, it’s sturdy and well made and would make a nice gift for the RPG enthusiast wanting an accessory to help them “get into their gaming persona.” Having said that, it’s not very practical. The “locking mechanism” interferes with the ability to fully open it and lay the pages out flat for writing, as it raises the center of the page about 3/8 of an inch, causing the whole thing not to lay flat. This effectively prevents the user from having a solid surface on which to write when using the left hand or back side of the pages. Also, while the paper is nice and thick, preventing bleed-through and ghosting, even with fairly “wet” fountain pens, it lacks a smooth enough finish to keep a fine-bobbed fountain pen from picking up paper fibers and becoming clogged over time. If you use felt tips, roller balls or ball-points it’s probably “good enough” paper. As long as you don’t mind only writing on the front side of each page.
