Label said no serviceable parts. That’s just a way to sell more heaters. Technical capability required on a 1-10 scale = 7 to 8.This is tricky one. You should have some experience hooking up natural gas or propane appliances. Know how to check for leaks with a soapy solution. Make sure the picture is EXACTLY the same as the one you are replacing.There isn’t much room to work so I basically cut most of the bottom of the heater off that wasn’t holding critical parts on. It went together well. First startup , no leaks, water or gas. Disappointing heater performance. Most delta Temp I could get with 50F water in was 10F on full gas and min water flow. I have two of these now and I will gang them in series and create super heated steam to run a triple expansion steam engine for my bicycle. I’ll use 3 old lawn mower engines for each stage of expansion. I’m an engineer and only know the theory. This thing could shrapnelize so I will test and I will hide in a 55 gallon drum for protection. Tell me you never did something like this.

I'm attempting to cancel this order . This gas valve was diagnosed bad over the phone with camplux. I believe it is a faulty control module. Would not be received on time and not sure it would fix my water heater. I ordered a new heater from the same seller.
