I have tried other products but had to come back to this one. Effective potent and does the job keeping algae at bay. My pool is easier to maintain with this quality product and is more affordable due to the concentration and strength of this product. I highly recommend this product to others.

So, one of my initial pool maintenance guys told me it was a matter of time before I get algae in my pool... He no longer maintains my pool.Despite keeping my free chlorine level at 3-5 and weekly shock, I ended up with green algae in my multicyclone prefilter. My main filters were also coated with green algae but not the pool. I started using copper-based algaecide that worked great at getting rid of the algae, but stained my pool. Luckily, I was able to get stain out with lots of vitamin C (reducing agent) and another product that binds and removes metals (can't recall the name)I then stumbled on this product, read a bunch of reviews on it and tried it out. It's worked great for the past 1 yr that I've been using it with chlorine levels btw 1 - 4 and phosphate < 100. No visible algae anywhere in my pool system unless chlorine drops to zero, then specks of green start under the dirt collected in the multicyclone prefilter.I still put in a little bit (under dosed) of copper-based algaecide from time to time (more from paranoia than anything else).

I've used 4 oz/week for the last four weeks and it has kept my pool algae free. Two weeks of that were with a chlorine level of only 1, so that tells me this stuff works! The price is very good as well. I'm removing one star because of the packaging- It doesn't have any window to let you know how many ounces are in the container. This makes it hard to determine how many ounces you are pouring into your pool without using a measuring cup. I prefer to just pour straight from the bottle.

Same active ingredients as more expensive brands. Best deal I have found on this algaecide. I uses it weekly to prevent algae. Have not had algae as long as I have been using it. I live in central Florida where it remains almost daily in the summer.

worked wonderful for clearing up the green that was beginning to develop in my above ground pool. I have a well so when I vacuum out the pool I have to use my hose from the house. This product took all the green away in less than 24 hrs.

I have struggled with mustard algae for a couple years and this product just did not seem to help even slow the growth.

This product is beneficial in preventative measure to control and prevent algae growth.Use this product weekly. You won't be disappointed.

I had a lot of visible algae growth in my pool in early March. I brushed the pool and super shocked it which helped. But after brushing and running the filter for 48 hours, it was still a pea green pool. I added about 2/3's of the recommended dosage of RxClear and ran the filter for 24 hours and the water was amazingly clear and blue the next day. After vacuuming up all the dead algae, balancing the chemicals, and running the filter overnight again, the water is crystal clear and ready for swimming. I'd swim but the water is only 56°! I've used other 60% algaecide's in the past, but this is by far the best.
