If you need them, you need them.
If you need them you need them. Not sure why the 1/4 track costs more than the 1/3 track pieces from Amazon as the seller, but it makes zero sense. Nothing worse than being off by just 3 inches and you cannot quite get there. Using the track layout programs take all the fun out of coming up with a track layout in your head. I wish Carrera had a straight piece kit with variable sizes at a reasonable price. I was surprised when I received my 3 1/23 track sets and none of them had a variety of pieces, straights and 1/60 turns was all. It was more economical to buy the sets than all the extra track pieces at the time I ordered. I wish Amazon had more digital cars and 1/24 cars at reasonable MSRP.
