Cable was kinked over in the package and split when I straightened it out.

I purchased this so I could relocate my cable modem from a downstairs office to an upstairs bedroom. At first I thought it worked fine... the modem was able to lock in the signal and I could reach the internet. Then my sons tried to play online from their PS4's and we realized just how much worse the signal was. Where the modem consistently tested at 1400/41 mbps it dropped to 50/35 when connected through this extension cable. We tried various things to fix it but eventually disconnected it and went back to the previous configuration.*tldr* It might work to plug in a CCTV or a VCR but don't try to use it for broadband internet.

I bought these to cut down on the length of cable to hook up TV box, and 6 months later, the cable company sent someone out (free, luckily) to check my wiring for data/signal leakage. This cable was the cause of the issue. After replacing this one cable, the issue was solved. Not worth saving a buck if it doesn't shield the signal.

I had an unfortunate situation while running this cable that caused it to fall with an HDTV antenna on the end. The end of the cable completely broke. While hanging the replacement cable I purchased, I had the same thing happen. The end did not break off. I did not successful ever use this cable.

The cable that I used to run splitter cable just went out. I have now connected the 2nd one and it is working. I feel it just should not have gone bad so quickly. I realize the price was cheap and I got somewhat what I paid for, but...Wonder how long the other will last. Very disappointed!
