5 Stars for what it is!
This monitor is clearly advertised as a Security Monitor, but I actually bought this monitor for retro gaming because it's a small flat screen with composite input. The image quality is actually surprisingly really nice, especially through HDMI! You're not going to get the crispness of a CRT, but that should be expected. The composite image is a little fuzzy, but it's not too bad at all.As a gaming monitor, the latency on this is also really low. I've played Super Mario World, Super Metroid, Crash Bandicoot, Gran Turismo, Tony Hawk and more on this monitor and it's extremely responsive. I haven't had any noticeable input lag or anything while playing games that demand responsiveness or a higher actions-per-minute.Aside from the gaming and image quality, the build isn't bad. The frame and monitor stand are plastic but pretty sturdy. The sound quality isn't great, but at least you won't need an external speaker. The packing of the monitor itself was solid, and it included a remote control, a power adapter, a car power adapter, and a VGA cable. There's also some pretty decent features available in the menu. Nothing crazy or advanced, but you've got some options.Overall I actually really like this monitor, and whether you need it for security reasons, or you want a cool portable monitor for gaming that also has low latency, this isn't a bad choice. I recommend it!
